(cw- politics)Ok so I know a lot of you people her support ACAB and all that stuff but can I say that I fucking hate ACAB so much. Every single group in society has bad people and there are no exceptions, but I don't think it is fair to define a whole group on the actions of some horrible people. It's also kinda hard to get behind a movement like that, when this fucking moment my uncle who is the sweetest most loving and caring family member I have and probably the only one who cares about me and my well being and who so happens to be a cop, is in the fucking hospital rn. And he is being treated like shit by all of the nurses and doctors because he is a cop. My uncle who has been through so much shit, who has devoted his whole life to keeping people safe, who who got in the middle of a fight so that an inmate wouldn't end up killing the other and who because of that has had more surgeries to fix his spine that I can count. My uncle who has always tried to make it to my birthday, my uncle who loves his wife more than his life, and who has devoted so much to her kids that aren't even his, my uncle who despite not me wanting it saved my life when I was a baby. My uncle who has so many health problems since he was 8, my uncle ho every single day wakes up at 5 in the morning to go to work because he wants to help people. I don't think you guys understand how horrifying it is to understand that thousands of people hate your uncle for his job, and would probably kill him if they had a chance, but they don't even know what kind of a person he is.
