I thought of an Au where Reiko is a Victorian era person or sm and was killed because they thought she was a witch. And she was buried under the house Shinsou lived in, but her tombstone was moved. So she haunts his house and is able to take some sort of physical form that only Shinsou is able to see.

Then I thought of one where Shinsou is a bullied teen and Reiko is a witch that pulled him out of the water he almost drowned in. And he's an orphan because we gotta reach peek angst, so no one would miss him if he was gone. So he would just work for Reiko.
