Oh boy! Hey, do you wanna read a story about you dating a guy/girl who is already in a relationship? No? Then don't fucking read these!  Seriously, I hate these types of stories! Look, I get it! Celebrity crushes are a thing! But unless it's set in an alternate reality, or the youtuber the x reader is based on had a respectful break up on good terms with the girlfriend or boyfriend they have in reality, then why in the name of fuck do you wanna date them!?!?

A perfect example of this is anything involving Markiplier or Pewdiepie. What do all of these have in common? THEY ALL HAVE LOVING GIRLFRIENDS WHO ARE NOT LEAVING THEM ANY TIME SOON!!! So, let's say there's this Markiplier x Reader where Amy cheated on Mark. Why?!? Do you want them to break up or something?

These things have flooded the results when you look up a youtubers name. And all are probably self-insert fics of whoever is writing it, who probably has a crush on that YouTuber. For example, I looked up Vanossgaming on here, I wanted to read some funny short stories with the crew since I have been binging old Vanoss videos. What do I find?

What in the ever loving name of fuck is this?!? Six x readers are the first result?!? And why do these things get so many reads?!? Oh and these aren't the only species of these things. There is also another one...'Adopted by'. But that is a rant for another day.

So, like with every chapter, my recommendations on making these better. First off, if the youtuber has a girlfriend or boyfriend, make them either have a respectful break up or do it in an alternate reality. Next, don't make the youtuber fall hopelessly in love with the reader! Most love comes from a long time of being friends with each other, with the feeling of love steadily growing over time, make the first couple chapters just them as friends and hanging out, then make them have feelings of love for each other! Finally, no drama that is not needed, no sudden break ups or shit like that. All you're doing is adding stupid drama to it, and we know they're going to end up back together anyway so what's the fucking point?!?
