The loud continous banging on the chamber door broke the slumber the couple were enjoying. Zravasaya had acquired tanirika in his tight hold as they both slept peacefully just hours ago after making love most of the night time.

Their feet entangled peeking out of the comforter as they both slept peacefully in each other's arms.

Tanirika groaned being annoyed by the banging which was not stopping anytime soon. She pushed her husband, slapping his chest few times she tried to wake him up.

"Get up and get dressed." She whispered in her husky and irregular voice. Zravasaya sighed in annoyance opening his eyes and then glaring at the door. He had strictly ordered the guards to not allow anyone to disturb them. The curtains circling around the bed did not helped his annoyed self.

"Maasi sa" a little voice screamed from outside as the banging intensified. Tanirika opened her eyes blinking repeatedly she tried adjusting to the sun rays. Zravasaya rolled his eyes staring at his wife who was trying to search for her night gown with her eyes closed and body slumped on the bed in a half lying position.  He chuckled looking at her cute self. Grabbing the piece of clothing he threw it on her face making her groan.

"Wear it, the little devil is here" He said fastening his lioncloth around his lower region. Tanirika smiled staring shamelessly at his back muscles as he walked towards the door. He opened the door slightly only to find the little prince standing just outside with curiosity lacing in his eyes. Before zravasaya could say anything that little body ran inside like the fastest horse in the stable.

Tanirika giggled looking at the bundle of joy who was running towards her. Zravsaya closed the door moving inside, his eyes fell on the white fur ball who had emerged from God knows where and was running behind Divith.

Divith stood near the bed and tried climbing it but failed miserably. Tanirika giggled softly looking at her nephew who was not going to give up. She stared at her husband who stared back at her. She signaled him towards the little prince making him roll his eyes. Zravsaya grabbed divith in a go and placed him on the bed making him shriek in surprise.

Divith giggled crawling on the bed towards his maasi sa. He latched himself like a little monkey on her making her giggle in adoration. 

Jugnu started whining as he was still not able to climb the bed. He tried standing standing his two feet and demolishing the distance but still was not able too .

"Him too" tanirika pointed at jugnu making zravsaya shake his head in denial. He grabbed jungnu and tossed them little puppy on the bed who ran towards divith and tanirika. Tanirika got the little puppy in her embrace as she placed divith properly on her lap.

"This is the reason I keep pushing the idea of having kids behind " He muttered laying on the other side of the bed looking at Tanirika and her two sweet kids. Tanirika chuckled pulling divith's cheeks as he giggled staring at her.

"What are you doing here, little prince?"

"I missed you and then you promised me that you would take me the apple orchards so when my slumber broke I came running here. Do you know how difficult it is to find your room? I got tired" He huffed cupping his face making tanirika chuckle at him.

Divith looked zravasaya who was looking back at him and he blushed suddenly pushing his face into tanirika's chest. Zravsaya pulled the kid back by pulling her grey kurta away from her wife's breasts making divith blush harder.

"Your majesty, good morning. " Divith whispered hugging tanirika tightly. She giggled holding her little prince closer making Zravasaya glare at her.

"You are shy of the king" She teased divith who hid his face in his little hands making tanirika and zravsaya laugh at him.

"He is so handsome. And strong look at his muscles. " he whispered in her ear making her laugh lightly.

"He really is. Look at those hands. " She whispered back. Tanirika grabbed one of zravasaya's biceps and squeezed it lightly looking at divith who awed in delight.

"So strong"

"That is why your maasi sa can't walk today "

"Vasya " Tanirika slammed her husband's arms making him laugh at her. The blush coating her brown skin made him proud of himself.

"Why are you in maasi sa's room?"

"Because I am her husband. " He replied in a obvious tone. Divith nodded in understanding bobbing his little head.

"Do all husband's sleep with their wives?" He asked tanirika who nodded caressing his hair. Divith scrunched his eyebrows playing with his fingers as questions arised in his little brain.

"Then why did babasa never slept with maasa. I never saw him sleeping with Divya maasa. I saw him once moving out of  Timaya maasa' room but maasa didn't like it when i disturbed her. Are you mad at me maasi sa?"

His voice quickened as tears edged in his small doe eyes. Tanirika shook her head caressing her nephew's face, her heart ached looking at his gloomy face.

"Come here, little prince " Zravasaya called out to divith who stared at him and then at tanirika who encouraged him to proceed towards the king. Divith crawled towards zravasaya who adjusted him on his chest. His small legs dangled on either side of his chest as he sat quietly on the king's upper body.

Divith held his arms slowly tracing the muscles as zravasaya's muscles fascinated him.

"When you grow up and have these muscles like a man always remember that you become a real man when you respect the woman you marry and fall in love with. "

"When I grow up will I get muscles like you?"

"Yes but the secret to get these are you need to respect and worship the woman you fell in love with. "

"Where would I find her?"

"Anywhere when your eyes can't stop looking at her and your little heart keeps pounding in an uneven speed you realize that you have found her. " He explained the little guy pointing at his chest where his heart resided.

"Did you fell in love?"

"Yes I did whenever I look at the person at my left My heart keeps beating in an uneven speed and I cannot keep my eyes away from her. "

"Person to your left?" Divith moved his gaze to zravasaya gaze and stared at tanirika who was looking at her husband and her nephew with warmth in her orbs. A large smile appeared on the little prince's face as he solved the sentence.

"You love maasi sa" He said bouncing on zravasaya's stomach.

"That's right " Zravasaya replied with same enthusiasm throwing the little prince in the air and then grabbing him down. Divith laughed loudly as zravasaya kept bouncing him lightly in air. Tanirika felt teats oozing in her eyes as she gazed at her husband playing with divith.

Maybe in future he would play with their kids in the same manner.

"What are you thinking ?" Zravasaya asked tanirika placing divith in the middle of the bed as the little prince played with jugnu.

"Just about. I made a promise to asaka and my grandfather wants to take benefit of it " She said rubbing jugnu's stomach as she gazed in zravasaya's eyes.

He nodded at her encouraging her to open up. She gulped inaudibly a sigh following out.

"My second child will ascend the throne of Asaka as the rightful heir of the Throne. And my grandfather chimed in declaring that if it's a boy he would demolish the boundary between Asaka and vidharbha and make it one nation. He has no heir and he is old the only source of getting a pure blooded strong lineage heir is Me. " She confessed dreading his reaction. Her kid won't be only hers being a father he had every right to decide what future he desired to give their kids.

"And what if it's a girl?"

" I don't know if she has a strong husband then maybe  I don't know. This all gives me anxiety. " She said rubbing her Palms on her face. Zravasaya sighed holding her hand softly, he kissed her wrist making her pain ease a little.

"I want our kids how many of I conceive out of love. They should grow up with love and care not with the burden of responsibility. I do not desire that for them Zravasaya. And Here I feel like a worst mother who had already destined them for things. "

"Our kids will grow up in love and admiration Tanirika. But you have not pressurized or bonded them with something. They will be royals they were always destined to have royal life. Just like you and me. I don't want my kids to go through the same trauma I suffered but that does not mean I would keep them away from the journey of becoming a monarch. But they will become a monarch in the shadow of love and happiness. "

"I hate My grandfather "

"He thinks he would look down on my princess. I would make sure that your grandfather takes his last breathe before he gets his malicious brain and it's thought process on my daughter. " He whispered his voice lacing with disgust.

"You don't have a daughter right now and look at you acting all possessive and protective.  I am jealous. " She pouted sitting straight on the bed glaring at her husband.

Zravasaya laughed looking at his wife who looked cute in her angry posture.

"I love you and I know she's going to be just like you.  A more prettier version of you how can i not get protective over her. "

"I don't want to have kids " She whispered pushing him away making him laugh in content.

"How many kids do you want? " She asked him looking with curiosity filled eyes.

"As many you want to give me. At the end of the day it's your body" He whispered kissing her thumb lightly. She slowly moved down on the bed lying on her back as he kept caressing her fingers. 

Jugnu leaped on Divith making him fall on the bed soft giggles leaving his mouth. The couple smiled looking at the two kids playing with each other.

"He has grown up, soon he will be a grown up dog" Tanirika muttered gazing at her little pet. In ten months he had started to grow rapidly.

"I plan to breed him. Once the new ships arrive from macedonia a female species of his cult will arrive i plan to make them breed. "

Tanirika laughed hinting a smirk at her husband who blew a kiss at her.

"I am going to become a grandmother. Oh god, my little baby " She grabbed jugnu in her hands squeezing him tightly near her chest she nuzzled her nose in his soft fur.

"Your son is a horny bastard keeps humping on the poles."  Zravasaya said covering Divith's ears with both his hands.

His wife laughed looking at her annoyed husband and divith who pouted glaring at the king.

Jugnu crawled down on tanirika' stomach, laying his head on near her navel he rubbed his head trying to feel her love for him.

"Look divith" She called her little prince who waved at her to carry on.

She bobbed jugnu's black nose making him stuck his tongue out in annoyance. The trio laughed troubling the little creature. As divith kept bobbing his nose for fun.

Neera walked with worry lacing on her face towards the servants quarters. Her heart pained thinking about her friend who had suffered the trauma of what not the pervious night. She had just learnt from
her father that someone tried to poison the queen the previous night and everyone involved in the kitchen to cook the dinner was behind the bars.

Neera knew Saya very well, after all she was the woman who fed her the most delicious dishes as she was kaya's friend. She hoped that Saya was fine and it was just a normal day for Kaya. She increased the pace of her movement as her close maid followed behind trying to calm her lady down.

"Lady neera, please slow down. Maybe everything is fine and your friend's mother is not accused. " her lady in waiting tried to pacify her. Neera paid no heed to the woman who was running behind her. If everything was Normal then it would be nice. But if her fear turned out true then it would be a mess.

Neera pushed the door open of Kaya's room as the silence prevailing around the halls made her insides churn. Darkness erupted from every corner as light fell from the door she opened just a second ago. The small compartment felt dead as neera entered inside.

She gasped in fright finding her friend slumped near the bed sitting on the ground her head dipped into her hands. Kaya pushed her head up as the noise made its way in her ears. She pressed her eyes shut when the light messed with her gaze. Her messy hair bloodshot eyes made neera cry in pain.

"Kaya" she whispered softly making Kaya move wriggle in her place. Kaya lifted her gaze slowly but failed to do so as she was torned between the pain her mind was reflecting on her.

"Get me some water, chaaya" neera ordered. Chaaya grabbed the glass placed in one of corners, opening the lid of the pot she filled the glass with the water handling it to neera. Neera crouched near Kaya who was a worn out mess sitting on the ground.

She sprinkled drops of water on her face making Kaya groan in pain. Kaya blinked her eyelids as a pain shot right through her skull. She held her head with one of her hands as other held neera's hand.

When her eyes opened and it gazed on Neera. Tears erupted like a volcano, she leaped herself on Neera, hugging her tightly Kaya wailed loudly as neera hugged her back.

"Neera" She cried holding her tightly near her. After all in all the accusing lonely darkness Neera was like the light in her world.

"I am so scared. I - my mother she " She tried forming the words to explain her miserable situation making neera caress her back.

"Its OK. Have some water then we will talk. I am here Kaya with you. " Kaya sobbed hearing her comforting words as she really needed it. Neera pressed the glass of water on her parched lips. Kaya gulped the water like a desperate woman making peace with her dry throat.  Kaya leaned on neera who slowly tucked her head properly on her shoulder. Neera sat near Kaya providing comfort to her friend.

"Tell me everything"

" I went out to stroll in garden as mother was working late. When I came back there were soldiers and the women told me that my mother was taken by the soldiers she is accused of poisoning the queen. Trust me neera, my mother is not like that. She cannot even hurt a fly, we did not come here to go through this. I am so tired neera" Kaya sobbed clutching her head.

"I know you are not familiar with the royal rules but you need to understand. That if your mother is innocent then I promise not even a single hair will be damaged of her. Trust the rule Of Rakshatra. We have two courts if one fails to deliver justice other will surely. "

"The court is ruled by king and queen. The same queen who was poisoned why would they help me. People like me are ants for them they would crush me under their tweets and wont even breathe. "
Neera shook her head in denial, she cupped kaya's cheeks wiping the tears falling down.

"No, If you are innocent you won't be punished. Now stop crying. This crying won't do anything good. I talked to my father he said that he can't do anything as the investigation is in Commander loki's hands. And he is a little, you know someone who no one misses with. But he has made me believe that if this is in commander loki's hands then justice will be served he's not like power hungry savages. And this whole situation holds more depth as the queen was threatened. "

"How should I trust any of them. I don't know anyone. "

"I understand but my father says the investigation will take time. Commander loki is working since the previous night we will get some positive response. Now you need to get up, get cleaned and be determined. "

Kaya nodded holding the edge of the bed as she stood on her feet.

"We could meet lady lekha, yes she knows me I am sure she could tell us something. " Kaya suggested holding neera's hands in desperation. Neera tried nodding still unsure of her decision.

"I don't think she would support us. She is very close to the queen. "

"Then she will help us. She knows me she can convey my message to the queen or I will beg her to let me meet the queen once. "
Kaya added moving frantically around the room getting ready for the day.

Neera was unsure about the whole meeting with lady lekha. This whole situation was no less than a disaster. Everyone accused was accused of treason. And lady lekha helping them would mean the world is ending. Why would she help Kaya when someone tried tried kill her sister.

But neera knew no path of hope was waste of time. This could also result in a positive outcome.

Tanirika entered loki's chambers all dressed up ready for her departure. She roamed her orbs around the chambers searching for her friend.

Loki emerged from one of the rooms with a scroll in his hands. She smiled at her friend who nodded back signalling her take a seat.

"I did not expect you here?" He asked in wonder.

"Well, before I go on a little vacation vacation which your friend has planned for me. I wanted to make sure that in my absence things go smoothly " Loki cocked an eyebrow at her making her smirk in return. 

"I want you to have special eye on the movement of King of Persia and his little baboon of a sister. I heard from one of my spies that dearest Mehfil had acquired news about my existence and rule in the palace. I don't trust her at all. And that implies that I dont trust her brother either. I don't want my husband to end with pain because of those brothee and sister duo. " loki nodded in understanding placing the scroll on the table.

"My fingers ich to suck the air out of that woman's body. "

Tanirika laughed looking at loki who appeared very pissed off.

"This whole you and zravasaya being alone away from the kingdom is going to make her wither in anger. She's gonna burn. A perfect sight to behold "

Tanirika and Zravasaya were leaving the kingdom for few days as suggested by zravasaya. He wanted to take his wife away from the kingdom after the whole conspiracy which took place against her. While they both stayed away loki was supposed to investigate the matter.

Zravasaya had proposed this idea to tanirika once they both had prepared themselves for the day. Apparently it was decided a night prior that he would take tanirika away from the palace to have some personal time with his wife. And the only person who was very happy with this whole arrangement was Tanirika's grandfather.

He was still unknown to the truth that Tanirika still consumed birth control as the couple had mutually decided for not having a baby for atleast 2 years, Tanirika being young was one of the reason and another was her wanting to wait for Zravasaya's mother and sister to be found.

Zravasaya had planned to take tanirika to the same palace where his mother had birthed him, the secluded palace on one of the mountains with basically no one who would disturb them. Away from the chaos.

"Sadly I won't be here "

"Oh well you could clearly just remove your choker necklace and walk into her chambers her expression would be worth it' he said hinting towards the huge red mark resting on her neck. Tanirika cupped her neck, her cheeks turning red.

Loki laughed lightly looking at tanirika who hid her gaze away.

"That's not a bad idea though. " Tanirika whispered chuckling, she adjusted her hair hiding the hickey.

"Are you both discussing something very funny without me " A very enthusiastic meglos sang as he entered uninvited in loki's chambers.

"You can never knock can you Meglos?" Tanirika complained as meglos plopped himself down on one of the sofas.

"What's the fun in knocking? "

"Well you will understand that when you get a woman. And someone enters your room without knocking " Tanirika added slamming a pillow at meglos. He grinned holding the pillow by the other end as both of them pulled it from their side.

"He already has a woman tanirika" Tanirika gasped in shock looking at loki and then at meglos who stopped pulling the pillow.

"You do? Meglos!!!!!" She shrieked hitting the pillow on his arm. Meglos grinned protecting himself from her blows.

"I am your best friend. I should be the first person to know about your woman " She conveyed grabbing another pillow and throwing it on him.

" Well, I would tell you about her and everything once you come back from your trip. I promise. " He whispered holding the pillow grinning at her.

"Only gods could save you meglos " loki muttered making meglos glare at him.

"Oh shush"

I love Kaya so much it breaks my heart writing all this but I promise it's gonna be worth it. She is going to come back stronger than the 90s trend.

Tanirika and meglos being absolute kittens fighting like kids gives major best friend vibes. And he said he's going to expose his love to her lmao 👀 as if I will allow it so easily.
