When I'm listening to music, late at night, I happen to hear it; a quartet of notes. Oh the memories it brings, memories not mine, of pain and terror and sorrow; and bitter-sweet pleasure. How is it, I ask you, that music impacts us this way?

To it peppy tunes we dance, to its sad ones we cry; It's even there at our final goodbye's. Through every worst memory, and every best time, it strengthens and weakens; I love its encompassing eye. I can't wait for tomorrow, when I shall hear it again, for it is my passion; though 'tis a pain not to join in.
