Hey guys! I haven't ever done something like this before, so I decided it was time I made a change. See, there's a new story I'm working on, and it has a /lot/ to do with alchemy and magic. It's set in the middle ages of a more earth-like, human society. Because of this, I'd like some input.

What do you guys think the main character should be? A guy or a girl? I have a personality, and the story is already shaping itself in my head, but This single, extremely important question keeps eluding an answer. I also would love to hear Ideas for names. Really anything will do. If I don't choose your idea for the main character, I'll probably use it for a side character, so don't be afraid of being ignored or anything.
