So many questions asked.
What if?
We wonder about our past.
What if?
What if this happened, and not that.
What if?
Human nature wonder about what we have.

If Robespierre became the ruler of France,
I don't know what we would do.
His insanity is getting out of hand,
The power that was given coursing through.

If the 13 colonies weren't free,
If Britain still ruled them all.
The government would top the tree,
Of monarchies that Britain calls.

If the South had won the Civil War,
Slaves would still work in the fields.
There wouldn't be those football players,
But I still doubt that the North would yield.

What if?
So many questions go unanswered,
What if?
So I guess we'll just observe.
What if?
The world is changing, so is the Earth,
What if?
And there's so much more to learn.
