Teacher: How do you solve for x?

Me: *points to the x on the page* Here it is.

Teacher: You have to solve for x, class.

Me: So you have to do all these extra steps to find the x when it's right there?!

Teacher: The x isn't there; you have to solve for it. You have to do twelve steps.

Me: *points to the x* *in head* I guess you're not smart enough to do it, only finding one step. *solves for x in three steps and gets the same answer* Told you it didn't take twelve steps.

Teacher: *rolls eyes* Do it the correct way, class.

Me: *rolls eyes* They're both correct, teacher.

Teacher: ARE NOT!

Me: Just try.

Teacher: *does it my way* *gets the correct answer* Well, do it the for sure way, class!

Me: *rolls eyes* May I go to the restroom.

Teacher: *nods in defeat*

Me: *runs to the restroom to pull myself together before the dumb teacher*

Disclaimer: Teachers are good sometimes, but others, they're like this.
