So Regarding Publishing Speed...
I published a chapter I had planned out for a new story I had and it took me about four or five days.
To be honest, I'm satisfied.
I knew what I was actually writing this time and how the chapters connect. I did not hit blocks trying to get to the main point. And it may have took a few days, but at least I got it done. When I practise this (and maybe stop overthinking and start actually enjoying the writing) I'll most likely start writing MCSM and FE at the same time because I'll be in that flow I was in the first while I was a Wattpader. School is very taxing on my time and I have Christmas exams in about two weeks. It's almost two years since I started this, and since then, I've crossed from a kid to a teenager, and my FE fanfics are noticeably more mature since I read more mature books now (don't get me wrong though HARRY POTTER AND PERCY JACKSON FOREVER) and I swear in real life. I also use words like 'b*stard' and occasionally 'p***ed' in my newer books. But I'll never write that in my MCSM, just use the language in the game. Anyways I'm getting sidetracked. The point is it's a known fact that when we get older we think more, often overthink. As someone dealing with school life, the spectrum and just life in general, I sadly don't get much time or have the energy to write more than a few words due to both hecticness and tiredness. Lets face it. When we're tired, it's hard to write.
But with these new methods for my writing and having a new mindset for not being pressured by readers, I'll be able to start writing for fun rather than a chore, and you'll hopefully enjoy it too.
Sincerely,
Eleanor.
