First you want to get a shoelace, doesn't  really matter what size XD. Usually you can only pick locks like the ones in the media. Next, you stick the end of the shoelace(or aglet, whatever you wanna call it) into the lock and twist it until you hear a click. Then you can open the door. Most of the time it works, but sometimes it won't XD.
