Can you see the light
Shining from the sky
It wants to envelope you
So what do you do?

You reach up to touch the yellow
The beams wrapping around the fingers
Smothering you in hope
But you don't

You don't see its meaning
The way it's helping you
It's pushing you forward you know
But you don't know

Sometimes the light fades
You think it's not there
Your days become dark and hollow
It makes it all hard to swallow

But it is still there, albeit dim
It's constantly with you
As you do everything
And when you do nothing

Hope won't ever leave
Even if you can't feel it
It's always there in the form of a tiny spark
Light it to make it not so sparse

In your darkest moments
Rise up to touch the sky
Let the light rush through you
Hold onto it no matter what you do

Okay? Don't give up
Find your torch
Turn it on
Because that hope you see there, it's never gone

Also like you know when you try and write inspirational stuff because you don't want to see other people being sad. But really you're really hypocritical because you don't listen to yourself haha... same
