I need your opinion.

I'm seriously interested in writing a story that's sort of a 'choose your own adventure' type of thing but do you think that would be too messy for a story?

I've drawn out a huge flowchart already because I'm excited to make it but it would involve an option each chapter so it would be a lot of... switching chapters based on choices if that makes sense.

What do you think? Too confusing and messy or a decent idea?
