Okay, so, today I came into work as usual, minding my own business as I put my uniform on until Josh (my boss) walked by in the direction of his office and called my name. I answered half heartedly and went to see what he wanted, chatting a bit before he got to the point. Apparently, one of the shift leads had called him and wanted me to be written up for insobordanation.

I of course, blinked dumbly at the word and asked what he meant.

He then explained to me that what I had done the day before yesterday had pissed off the shift lead.

This is what happened:

Hailey (shift lead, not my sister): Could you clean the bathrooms?

Me: //a little annoyed at the question since it was like a half hour before the end of my shift and I knew that we're not supposed to clean them that early// Is it okay if I politely decline with hell no?

Hailey: ... Go do the bathrooms.

We even smiled a little at each other so I thought she took it as a joke, as I had meant it to be, and did the bathrooms anyways. I didn't have any intentions of NOT doing them, so I figured it was fine

But that bitch (according to Josh) sucks at reading people.

So, I nearly got in trouble.

Over a joke.

Well anyways, he told me when she told him about it, he started laughing.

While he was on the phone with her.

That made me feel good :3

He was laughing at the remark and that it had come from me, of all people

Usually I just do without out protest what I'm told to do

So, a smartmouth comment like that was very rare to come from me.

He told her to blow it off because I hadn't meant harm and luckily I'm not in trouble.

He told me to be a little more careful since Hailey just started and doesn't really know me, and to get to know people a little better before pulling shit like that

I understood and we talked it over some more before he told me to get to work and left to whatever

I would of been perfectly fine if I didn't randomly start crying over it. Mostly over frusturation and relief that Josh wasn't upset, and after getting over my drama princess side I went through the day as usual with the occasional teasing about it

I dunno if this made sense, I'm kinda out of it after a day of work and my medication is wearing off.

So I'll shut up and reply to this damn guy who keeps texting me like a clingy boyfriend on amino
