Random Scene 1 (Part 2)
Harmony and Ashton had arrived at the Temple of Yin and Yang. They killed monsters, and got through the obstables together. "Alright, ready to face whatever's inside?" Harmony asked. "Yup," Ashton replied. "By the way, I'm glad you came along," she admitted. "Thanks!" Ashton smiled and brushed his hair back. It made Harmony blush a little. He then stared into her eyes with his stunning blue eyes. It made her blush even harder and she started grinning like an idiot. "Stop that!" she giggled. Ashton laughed. "I love it when you blush. You look really cute when you do," he teased. She facepalmed and looked away, still smiling and blushing. "C'mon, let's just go in," she said. "Whatever you say, princess." Ashton said and charged into the temple. Wait...what? Princess?! No one calls me princess! Harmony thought and glared at Ashton. "We'll discuss about this later," she said suspiciously. He just smirked and charged at the first beast. The monster howled in pain and dissolved. Ashton fought pretty well in Warriors Camp, but not as good as Harmony. She was one of the best fighters. She whipped out her bow and arrows and shot an exploding arrow at a group of beasts. The arrow exploded as soon as it touched one of the monsters and the whole group dissolved. She slashed through rows of the horrifying creatures, and the dissolved one by one. She shook the grit from her sword. "Ew." She then took out her bow and arrow again and shot a second exploding arrow at the last group. When it exploded, the monsters dissolved and she swung the bow and arrow back on her back.
"Now that's how you do it." Harmony said, putting her hands on her hips. Ashton whipped out a pair of sunglasses and put them on. "Woah gurl. You better dump that notch of ego down a little. The next part's gonna be waaaaay harder." Ashton just turned on his sassy mode. "Are you trying to be sassy with me?" Harmony raised an eyebrow. "Uh...um...yeah...let's just move on," he stammered. "That's what I thought," Harmony said and ran to the next section of the temple. Ashton ran after her. "Lemme guess. You like me too," she pointed a finger at him and raised an eyebrow. And in the first time in forever...she saw him blush. "Uh...I'll answer that question later," Ashton said quickly and turned away from her. Harmony smirked and held her gaze on him. It made Ashton blush even more. "AHH!! Alright, you win!! I do like you!!" He blurted out. "Meep...don't get mad..." he added. "I'm not mad, I mean, it's perfectly all right," Harmony said. She stopped suddenly and Ashton bumped into her. "What are we gonna do now?" He asked. "There's a puzzle here," she pointed to the floor. She studied it for a while. "The tiles have all types of cats on them...except that there is a mouse tile," Harmony muttered. She dug a small stone out of her pocket and threw it. It lamded on a puma tile. A bunch of arrows flew past. She put her foot on the nearest mouse tile. Nothing happened. "Oh...so we step only on the mouse tiles then," Ashton clarified. Harmony nodded and started to make her way to the other end, stepping carefully on the mouse tiles. Ashton followed as well. When they reached the end of the corridor, the door opened. Amd guess what they saw. Monsters.
"Argh! Not again!" Ashton groaned. "What's wrong? It's always fun to be killing something," Harmony said sarcastically, but it was also what she felt about them. She unsheathed her sword and fought them. One of the monsters was a dragon-like creature, and it blew fire at her. She dodged the attack and sliced of one of it's five heads. "Harmony! Don't!" Ashton warned. "Why not?" she asked. "Because...once one head is cut off a hydra, two more grow back..." he winced at something behind her. It was the hydra. She took out her bow and her exploding arrows, and fired one at it. It exploded and dissolved to dust. Ashton also took out his explosives and threw one at each hydra. The monsters eyed the explosives, as if wondering what they were. Suddenly the explosives and the monsters exploded. They went into the next room.
Surprisingly, there was no monsters. No tiles. No puzzles. "Well this is odd," Harmony narrowed her eyes. They were trapped in an empty room. "There has to be some kind of secret door or something!" she exclaimed and touched the walls. She finally touched a loose brick. A puzzle formed in front of her. She pushed the blocks around, trying to find the right combination. When she finally entered triangle, circle and circle, the door opened. Harmony walked into the room. It was open, but there was no sign of traps anywhere. There were no windows or doors. But when she looked at the center of the room, she gasped at what she saw. A glowing orb, was floating on a pedestal.
"The Opal Orb...it's beautiful..." she murmured. The orb was made of opals, and it had a yin and yang design. It had many colors shining from it, changing from time to time. "Wait. No traps? No one is going to fight us or anything?" Ashton asked warily. "It doesn't seem like it," Harmony replied. She hesitated, then put her hands on the orb. Nothing happened. She quickly and nimbly took the orb from the pedestal. But after she took it, the temple started to crumble. Harmony and Ashton stared at each other in horror. "RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!" Ashton shrieked. "C'mon!" Harmony called. One of the pillars of the temple fell down. She leaped onto the pillar, waiting for the next to crumble down. It did, and she jumped onto it. The floor began to flow with lava, slowly rising. One of the parts of the rood crumbled down, and Harmony climbed onto it. She reached her hand down to Ashton, and he grabbed it. Then they both jumped out of the temple just as it was about to explode. The temple exploded, and Harmony gripped the orb tightly. She then jumped from the temple's roof and landed onto a tree in the forest. "Woah," Ashton panted. "That. Was. So. Close." "Yeah," she put the Opal Orb into a little pouch that hung from her waist. "You wanna camp here for a while? It's already night and I'm tired," she yawned. "Sure," Ashton replied. Harmony climbed down from the tree. She settled down on the soft grass and lay against the trunk of the tree. Ashton got down too and lay his head on Harmony's shoulder. She didn't mind, because she was too tired to care. She just smiled and closed her eyes. She didn't have to be uncomfortable around Ashton. Since she admitted it, she felt safer. Whenever she was around him...everything was going to be alright.
