When life decides to hit you, it hits where it hurts the most, not physically but emotionally. It brings you face to face with loss, depending on what is very dear to you. Out of all the losses, the very impactful is the sudden death of someone close to your heart. One day they just cease to breathe when their journey on this earth and material world comes to an end either abruptly or through illness.

   How do you feel when you even think about it? You just brush off that thought from your mind altogether. You don't want to lose anyone dear to you. You want to stay happy with them forever.

   What about our own death? Have you thought about that ever? Yes, we think about it all the time and use it carelessly very often. But have you faced a situation where death had stared at you and you didn't want to make that eye contact? No, it's too early-i don't want to yet go from this world-i haven't lived my life-there are things I have to do, places I have to visit, etc, etc.

   But for some, it's like, why am I still living. I have had enough of this miserable life. God take me away.

   But we forget the basic fact that the journey of life begins at birth and ends in death.

   And as Tagore said
Death is not extinguishing the light; it is only putting out the lamp because the dawn has come.
