On this day, 214 years ago, (itotallydidntcalculatethiswhat?) Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr had their famous duel. On this day, The World Was Wide Enough happened in real life. On this day, Alexander aimed his pistol at the sky  -WAIT! (I am so sorry) And Burr shot him right between his ribs... 🎶 I walked toward him, but I am ushered away... 🎶

After the duel, Hamilton's last words were "This is a mortal wound, doctor. *turns to his wife* Remember, my Eliza. You are a Christian."

Interpret that however you want. I think that he meant "Don't kill Burr, Eliza. You're a Christian."
