Backstory- Not much happened in her childhood growing up in Austin, Texas. Being a homeschooler doesn't make life that interesting, all I can say is that she developed her creative and nerdy interests when she was younger, so jump ahead to the good stuff. Right before graduating high school, Serena and her parents had a falling out over college. She wanted to take so time to really think about her future whereas her parents were pushing her to make a decision already. Finally, she had enough and moved out at 19. Serena eventually got a job at Target, earning just enough to get her by. Her parents reached out to apologize for all that happened, as they had realized their mistake at this point, and it took some time but they were able to resolve things and start fixing their relationship. Serena has been living on her own for about a year before she found a homeless husky in need of a home. And so, she took him in, soon getting bargaining with her boss for a raise to compensate.
