Someone recently pointed this out to me.

How did I go five years without knowing this?

I don't really understand why this is a thing. In all fairness, my lack of comprehension may come from the fact that I've only known about this for a couple weeks.

I see it in pretty simple terms; voting on your own book serves to trick the system. You're inflating your own vote count, which really isn't a cool way to go about things.

Were you guys aware of this? If so, do you think it's a good thing, or not so much?

I'm interested to see how you feel about this, as it's not something many people are sharing opinions on.
