So, someone requested that I do this sort of thing. Shoutout to you AlyssaJKeyes for asking me about this.

So, I'm going to discuss some names in this chapter, in no particular order. If you think that I should use one of these, or if you like/dislike any of these yourself, let me know down below. I'm interested to see what people think of these. :)

1. Avien
I'm rather obsessed with this name, and it's actually second on my list for a child's name in real life. It's a girl's name and a variation of Avian, which means bird-like. I don't believe in using it in one of my stories, because I'm quite devoted to naming one of my future children this, and it's too unusual of a name to appear in both fiction and real life.

2. Lucius
This one is pretty simple. I like this name for a fictional character, but the immediate association (at least for lots of people in my generation) is that of Lucius Malfoy from the Harry Potter books. I'm not sure that, if I named a character this, readers could avoid this association when seeing the name.

3. Denver
I quite like place names, though this one seems like it might feel weird to readers. I like it for characters as a girl's or guy's name, though I believe it might feel out of place to readers in any genre other than sci-fi. For that reason, I'm a bit hesitant to use it.

4. Kiersten/Kirsten
I actually have a recent follower with a variant of this name. The name in general seems to suit pretty much any genre, though I'm not sure that I myself can pick it. The doubt of this one stems from the fact that, quite recently, I also read a series in which a character had a variant of this name. I'm not one to steal others' character names, and I don't have intentions of appearing to do it. Aside from that, this name sounds a bit similar to the scientist, Kristenson, from my 2050 books.

5. Solace
This is one of those unusual names that seemed interesting to me. I like it quite a lot for a character name, though it falls into a similar category as my third name did. I think that, for a lot of readers, this one is just a bit too out there to fit anywhere other than science fiction. That's really the only reason I haven't found a place for this one, though if I work on another strictly sci-fi series, I may find a way to use it.
