~Confusing~LloydXReader~

Wow I didn't expect this to have like no requests. This is merely a post done by myself with the 'request' I used in the first chapter. This will be a kinda preview chapter or something so you guys can get a feel for what chapters like this are like. Prepare for a whole buncha Lloyd being an adorable bean.

Also warning, I do swear in my works. Not super excessively unless the plot calls for it or that's just the character. So please don't be surprised if a big ol' swear word pops up outta nowhere. Majority of the chapters will be when Reader is older teenager/young adult (I'm assuming) and based on experience, teenagers swear a lot. At least where I come from.

~~~~~~~~~~~
It was ever so clear I was in love.
In love with my oldest friend, Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon.
I found out almost a year ago when we were sixteen years old. Originally, I thought it was my hormones acting up and trying to make my teenage life more confusing than it already was. But, as time went on, I realized more and more with each passing day that I truly was falling for the blonde.
But alas, I am not nearly confident enough to confess to him. Not only do I have major confidence issues because of the bullying for being Lloyd's friend, but I'm afraid he doesn't like me in that way and will reject me.
I sighed as I looked out over the lights of the city. It was a peaceful night, but the storm raging inside me was enough to make the beautiful sight not lift my mood. I had already finished my homework, and now I was just sitting up on my bed looking out the window in my thoughts. My parents were away on a business trip, leaving me alone at home. It was normal.
Once again my thoughts returned to my almost cursed crush on Lloyd. Knowing me we'd probably go through the rest of high school and no longer see each other again and I wouldn't have confessed to him. I groaned in annoyance and flopped back onto my bed, looking up at the ceiling. Why did teenage life have to be so damn confusing?
A sudden knock at my window caused me to jump up to a sitting position on my bed, turning my gaze out to the closed and locked window. What I saw next surprised me to no end.
The Green Ninja him fucking self.
I crawled over to the window right above my bed and unlocked it, swinging the two window doors open to let in a small breeze. "What are you doing here?" I asked, my eyes wide in confusion. "I was on patrol and saw you. I've got a lot on my mind recently..." Green responded. I gave him a gentle smile. "Want to talk about it?" I offered. Green looked up at me with his green-ha- eyes wide. "Really?" he asked. "Why else do you think I'm offering you the chance?" I replied dryly.
Green then crawled through the window before sitting on my bed next to me. After he was comfy, he turned to look at me. "You sure you really want to listen to my tale of woe?" he asked. "I have two ears and one mouth for a reason," I replied. Green sighed before he turned to stare forward, looking at nothing in particular.
"Well, I've just been really confused about something. I have this friend at school, she's my best friend and has been for years, and recently there's something going on inside me. Like, I'm conflicted about how to feel about her. Part of me thinks of her as a friend, but the other part- I just don't know. It's kinda like there's butterflies and a rock in my stomach, and I just can't keep her out of my mind."
I gently placed a hand on Green's shoulder causing the ninja to look over at me. I gave him a gentle smile. "What would you say to her?" I asked. "I-I don't know what'd I say to her. I don't think she'd understand," Green responded, turning his gaze to the ground. I carefully scooted forward to wrap my arms around the conflicted ninja, to try and provide some comfort in the hard time he's going through. Slowly he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me back. "Heh, well Green, I kinda know what you're going through," I said.
I felt his arms stiffen slightly. "R-Really?" he asked. "Yeah. I went through the same thing with my best friend, Lloyd," I replied. Green slowly moved out of the hug and looked me in the eye. "Well. any advice on how to get through this?" he asked.
"Well, I can't really explain it that well without telling you my own story. So, if you want to hear, you're welcome to."
Green gave me a pleading look from his eyes, making me laugh slightly. "Alright, I'll tell you," I said.
"Well, it was about a year ago when I started to get that same feeling you feel, except for my best friend Lloyd. He isn't the most well-liked person in Ninjago just because his father used to be evil, Lord Garmadon, but now he goes by Sensei. I was really confused by it and thought it was just my hormones determined to make my teenage life more miserable than ever by adding a whole bunch of confusion to the mix. But, as time went on, I instead realized what it was."
Green leaned forward slightly, waiting for my next words. I giggled a bit at his childish actions, making the boy retract slightly with a faint blush on his cheeks from what I could see of his face. A faint blush came to my cheeks as well as I thought over the words in my head, wringing my hands together, my gaze averted to the ground.
"I-I love him."
Green suddenly stiffened immensely. I brought my gaze up to meet his own green gaze. Why did he look so shocked? "Green? You okay?" I asked hesitantly. After a moment of silence, Green reached up and ripped his mask back to reveal his face underneath. And what I saw made my cheeks blush a furious red.
"L-LLOYD?!"
A bright blush was also spread across said boy's face. "Uh, hi?" he asked, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly. An internal scream was going on inside me because oH MY GOSH I JUST CONFESSED TO MY CRUSH. "Y/N, please don't start screaming in a rant," Lloyd quickly pleaded. My jaw which was dropped to the ground about to start my rant clamped shut. Lloyd breathed a sigh of relief. "Alright, Lloyd, explain," I ordered. "Heh, well, I'm kinda the Green Ninja..." Lloyd trailed off in a nervous smile.
"NO SHIT, SHERLOCK."
"L-Listen, I know you're probably mad at me, but please give me a chance to explain!"
"F-Fine, go ahead."
"Well, recently I started feeling weird when around you. I tried talking to our friends about it but them being them just wouldn't help me figure it out and said to either figure it out myself or talk to you. But I didn't want to approach you as Lloyd, so I decided to go as the Green Ninja. But I didn't expect it to turn out like this!"
There was genuine worry and guilt caught in his green eyes. He lowered his head ever so slightly causing his blonde hair to fall down in front of his face, his eyes peering out from the golden locks. It was adorable looking. I felt the blush creep onto my face again as I averted my eyes to the ground. "W-Well, ain't this just the turn of events," I stammered. "Yeah," Lloyd agreed. A silence filled the room, crushing the air down on us, producing an awkward atmosphere which I despised.
"S-So, what now?" I asked. Lloyd raised his head and met my gaze. "What do you mean?" he asked. Oh, the oblivious green bean. "W-What does this mean for us? Like, what are we now?" I asked. A look of understanding spread across Lloyd's face before it turned to slight worry. "W-Well, if you- I-I mean..." Lloyd trailed off, his face turning a red color again.
To finish for him, I gently pressed my lips against his turned cheek for just a second before pulling away. He looked at me in shock and an even brighter blush spread across his cheeks. "A-Are we a couple now?" I asked hesitantly. Lloyd smiled down at me as he gently moved his hand to hold my cheek. "I couldn't ask for anything better," he replied. A rogue tear slid down my cheek as I leaned forward and pressed my lips against Lloyd's, closing my eyes in content.
