"I know."
18. "Um, that came out wrong..."

"I fink Awmin weally likes someone, nom nom," Sasha managed to get out in between mouthfuls of the potatoes she had on her plate.

You were too tired to eat, and silently passed your untouched plate to Sasha, who happily began to gobble it up.

The pain in your head didn't help your already growing agitation, but you threw your friend a tired smile.
"Yeah, probably."

"I woulf fink it's you."

You coughed and then glared at her.

Turning around to make sure no one heard her, you shot her a dirty look. "Sasha!"

Your friend just gave you a close-eyed smile.

"Wuff is the harm?"

You whisper-yelled, "Sasha! Someone will hear us! Be quiet!"

She had finished eating. Wow, that had been quick.

"What's the harm in it? Don't you want that so badlyyyyyy?"

Your cheeks were burning, "Shut up."

"Aww, my precious (Y/N) is in love with Ar-"

"Hi (Y/N) and Sasha," a voice interrupted your friend, thankfully.

Your eyes widened and you had to steady your breathing.  "H-hey Armin!"

He gave you a bright smile, his ears turning pink.

"Why are you both so red, huuuuh?" Sasha called out.

You glared at your friend, but she threw you a smug smile.

Armin cleared his throat, "A-anyway, we were camping out tonight and I was wondering if you'd like to sleep with me?"

You choked on the water you were drinking and Sasha snorted.

You stared at him, wide-eyed.

His eyes widened in alarm, and he raised his hands in surrender, "Um- um- uh that came out wrong! That's not how I meant it- I-I just-"

"She says yes," Sasha piped in, "to both. To what you meant and what you didn't-"

"SASHA!"

"N-no! I'm so sorry (Y/N)! I'll get going, ahhh," Armin couldn't look at you.

"N-no-"

"S-see you."

And before you could stop him, Armin had left.

Sasha began to laugh hysterically and you couldn't slow down your heartbeat.

"Go get him, tiger. Go kiss him and do all sorts of-"

"SHUT UP!"

There he stood, under the large tree.

You took small and unsteady footsteps towards him, "Armin, hi."

He gave you a shy smile, "Hi."

You looked him in the eyes, and you decided to say it out loud. "Armin, I love you."

His cheeks darkened and he looked away, "I know."

"That was my line!"

"I know."

"Come on! Can't we kiss already?"

He couldn't look you in the eyes, "U-um-"

You gently cupped his cheeks and pecked him on the lips.

"Uh-uh-umm I love you, (Y/N)."

"I know."
