Sebastian Michaelis x nightmare!reader
You never even saw it move.
The doll was turned toward you, a grin on his face. Your breath hitched as you turned around to run to your momma. You ran off to her room, she was tending to other things.
"Mom!" You screamed, like someone was physically hurting you.
She turned to you.
"Mom, he moved and now he's coming for us!" You cried out.
You turned around, and saw 3 dolls. One was him, the doll thing that haunted your dreams whenever you had a bad day. He had red curly hair, a white face, and a huge grin. He was wearing a striped shirt and some overalls. But the thing that made him special, was the scars. The lines running over his body, scars from who knows what. Running over his eye. On his ear. Under his foot. They were everywhere. Grotesque to look at. They were stitches.
The dolls shambled over to your mom, and the one was in front of you. You tried to kick him, he was only knees height, but your legs didn't seem to work and missed if you tried. His grin became closer. The last thing to saw was his brown eyes glaring into your own.
I woke up, not opening my eyes. My body was tingling, and it still felt like I was sleeping. I just wanted to call for my mom. I just wanted to run to her room and sleep beside her, comforted by her form.
But she wasn't here. I was all alone here.
I hated having these childish dreams. Afraid of a doll? That seems like a fear for children. But you weren't even afraid of dolls, just greatly disliked them. Overly cautious around them. Watching for an eye to roll, a finger to twitch, a mouth to move.
I quietly sat up in my bed, eyes open now. I just wanted to run to my mother's bed. Since I can't do that, I need to go somewhere else. This room is suffocating. A walk around the manor would do nicely.
I reached around for my candle on my bedside, and when I found it, I tried lighting it as fast as I could. When I couldn't light it, I threw it to the side. I got up and dashed to the door. I unlocked it and stepped out. Cool air greeted my bare ankles and arms. I shut my door and started walking. It was dark in the hall, but moonlight shone through, comforting me just a bit.
I decided to go to the kitchen. I could make myself a snack and then go back to bed, and move on in my life.
I got to the kitchen, and found a person there to my surprise. It was Sebastian. Ciel's (my master's) butler. I didn't talk to Sebastian much. Never felt the need to. He didn't seem like the type of person who wanted to make friends. So why bother excessively talking to someone if they don't want to talk back?
Minimal talk was good.
I walked in, heading toward the food.
Sebastian looked up, a tiny bit surprised.
"Hello, (Y/N)," he greeted. He was setting up a tray of tea.
I didn't bother asking why he was making tea at this hour. Ciel and him were probably just gone on a mission and Ciel wanted some tea before he went to bed.
"Hello," I greeted him back.
I grabbed a piece of bread and an apple, and leaned against the countertop, watching for crumbs.
"What are you doing up so late?" He asked.
"I just had a bad dream and ended up here," I explained in the shortest way possible.
He nodded.
"You've been having these dream more frequent lately, right?"
What is he getting at?
"Yes."
"Maybe you're a little stressed and just need a day off," he offered.
"Oh, no way. I couldn't do that. This job is my life. A few bad dreams can't keep me from my life!"
A smile fell onto his face.
"Wise words. I'm going to go give this to the young master, see you later," he smiled at me and grabbed his tea before leaving. I finished up my snack and went back to my room.
I had just lied on my bed when a soft knock interrupted my thoughts. I got up and opened the door. It was Sebastian. He smiled at me. I noticed the cup in his hand.
"I thought you might like some tea before you try to fall back asleep."
I eagerly nodded, knowing that Sebastian made some of the best tea.
He offered it to me
"Wow, thank you Sebastian!" The cup warmed my fingers.
I took a sip.
"You're very welcome, how is it?" He questioned. I took another sip, smiling.
"It's very good. You definitely make the best tea."
"Very well, I shall be off, then."
He gave me another small smile and turned around and started walking away.
"Goodnight Sebastian," I called out after him.
I was definitely going to be talking to him more often.
No wonder Meyrin was obsessed with him. He was nearly perfect in every way.
This is based off of me. I have nightmares about recurring things. One of those things is the Chucky doll.
Btw, I just started watching Black Butler, it's so good.
