- emerald's pov-
the Balrog snarled as it stalked after us. I ran as fast as possible, ensuring I didn't hit the pillars that would send this whole place down. I grunted as I felt my energy lowering. Feeling the scent of a bridge, I pushed myself further and soon reached a thin stone bridge that stretched over a chasm of nothingness. "over there, fast," I uttered to my friends and crouched down so they could go off. They all looked at me when they came to eh ground. looks of worry and sadness. "are you gonna leave us?" Pippin, the youngest hobbit of the four, asked, his eyes blinking away tears as they pricked his eyes. I sighed and bowed my head, nudging his chin with my snout. "I can't walk over there, Pip. Go, I'll be fine," I said and rose again, facing the demon. Soon it barged in, its body relishing in flames.
As it locked eyes with me, it sneered. "what are you doing here, dino? Your place isn't here," I growled and got into a defensive position. "nor do you, servant of Morgoth," I snapped, my anger taking over anything better to say. The Balrog snarled in anger and raised his hand, holding a flaming whip. I glared at the whip. I didn't fancy being whipped by it, but I kept my ground. My eyes shone in anger and hatred. None of us made the first move before something snapped in me. I roared (search t-rex roar) and pounced at the fiery bull, wrapping my jaws over his right arm where his whip was held. The Balrog roared in anguish and anger, then took his burning hand around my throat, trying to either suffocate or pull me away from his arm. I suppose both. But I didn't give in and only a bit harder, now drawing blood.
The Balrog got me off his arm and smashed me against the stone, blurting my vision. My ears caught the shouts of the fellowship barely as I was picked up once again by my neck, a black claw pressing against my larynx. My breath hitched as he lifted me to his face and roared at me, his hot breathtaking my senses. I bit back the bile that planted itself in the back of my throat and looked into his empty eyes of fire. I saw nothing more than hate. "you were a worthy opponent, but nothing more," he hissed, his hold on me tightening as he walked over to the edge beside the bridge. And then I knew that he would let go of me to fall my death. My body cringed at that thought. No, I had friends now. I couldn't simply leave them. they needed me, and I needed them.'
With the last strength that had gathered in my body, I swung my legs up and into the chest of the Balrog, pushing and clawing him back. Finally, his hold on me loosened, and I wriggled loose, hitting the ground on my feet. I wobbled but got myself together and attacked him, crushing his throat between my jaws. They dropped his lifeless body to the ground and saw my wide-eyed companions staring at mebeautifulbeautiful. I couldn't do anything before dizziness overtook me, and I passed out.
☽
When I woke, a headache greeted me. I groaned and propped myself onto my elbows to see where I was. Letting my eyes get used to the brightness, I finally looked around. I found myself in a room, beautiful with clear white trees as roof pillars. Unfortunately, everything in this room was beafuil. I then remembered my friends and attempted to stand. Keyword tried. The pain in my whole body erupted like it had the day before, but now I noticed that I was in human form. And I had new white clothes on my body instead of scales. I sighed, having forgotten that I could shapeshift. A young maid came inside the room and saw me awake. she grinned and said something in a language I recognized as elvish but didn't understand.
She bowed and hurried out the same door she came. After a few minutes, a lady clad in white and had a circlet on her head came inside. I remember her as lady Galadriel and then understood that I was in Lothlorien. "ah, you're awake. Good, your friends are worried. If you're strong enough to meet them now, come," she said, but instead of turning and leaving me, she came to my bed and offered a hand. I took it reluctantly, not saying anything, letting my body speak of its own. "hmm, you seem strong enough. Good, you heal fast," she hums and leads me down dwindling stairs until we reach the bottom where a young handsome male elf stands.
He's dressed in armor, so I believe he's a guard. "Haldir, take lady emerald to her friends." the lady of light says and hands me over to Haldir, who grasp my arm gently. he doesn't smile at first and bows as Galadriel walks away, leaving us alone., I feel he wants to say softening, but I don't bug. We then start to walk towards where I believe my friends are. "how's life in middle earth treating ya?" he suddenly says, surprised that he would say something like that. We've never met. "um, I'm sorry, what? If I'm not mistaken, we've never met before, mister Haldir " I say. Haldir sees my confused expression as he chukles. "no, we haven't, but I've heard about you in tales. They're quite splendid though they do you no justice." he says, and the smile never leaves his face.
I then understood that it was either a friendly comment or a flirty one. I hope it's the first one. I don't have any interest in men, not now. I still haven't gotten over my ex-husband. I sighed but didn't say anything back as we continued to walk. Soon enough, we reached a grouping of trees, and I saw a small camp. Then I spotted legoals, and a smile turned on my face. I excused Haldir, who took his leave. I immediately walked over to the blonde elf and embraced him. he jumped, but as soon as he saw it was I, he smiled and wrapped his strong arms around my form. Soon the rest of the fellowship joined the hug as they recognized it was me. We all had a happy reunion. I then turned to the gray wizard, the leader of the fellowship. His grayish-blue orbs meet mine. I stand and transform into my dino form, relaxing as the feeling of pure power fills my veins.
I then lower my head to Gandalf's eye level, and he nods, knowing what I would do. "your time has come, Gandalf the gray. You'll take your place in this world," I say, and fire bubbles in my throat, lighting it up. Gandalf gives me a small smile and closes his eyes, and suddenly my flames wash over him, making him disappear. "why did you do that?!" some of the fellows shout while others stare at the spot where Gandalf had previously been. Then Aragorn and Boromir draw their swords. "what have you done?" Aragorn asks grimly. I turn my snout towards them, and the wisdom in my eyes calms them down. "I did him a favor. He will return. " I say and walk off, heading for lady Galadriel.
☽
"you came, child?" Galadriel's voice broke me out of my thoughts, and I snapped my attention to her. She stood by a silver basin, her mirror. I had heard about that mirror many times, the tales saying it was magical and could tell your future, past, and present. I didn't know I believed it or not, never bother sparing much thought to it. "yes, I did," I said, turning to face the lady of light. Galadriel smiled, sat down not far from the mirror, and patted the spot beside her. I did as she offered and sat down, relaxed as I started to tell everything. from the beginning to the end. She listens closely, never interrupts. "I was there, Galadriel. The day of arda, when it was born by the Valar's song. I saw Melkor corrupt to something I would call madness. I was there the day of the trees. I have seen everything. And why did I leave my kingdom? The place of my growth? Well, there's only one reason I could think of. The domain is slowly fading. Darkness has brooded long in the corners of your world, and now, he has returned and claimed lordship over our borders.
The queen is fading too. Her place in our world will be over soon, and the dragon of shadow will claim the throne." I sighed and paused a little, making an opening for lady Galadriel to ask me anything she wanted. "you turned your back on your kingdom cause it soon won't be there? Why don't you try and stop the darkness?" she said, making my eyes find her. I was sitting there in human form. and now my heart finally found me. "I can't, Galadriel. Our time has come. We're no longer needed in the world. The magic of Dragorath will fade, and all its creatures will leave this earth, never to be seen again. I have nothing left to save. But I've come here to save your world. I won't let my friends die. Not when I can save them," I said and straightened my back, growing confident and severe.
Galadriel nodded and stood up. "then let me help you, young one. save our world will take more than only one dino," I chuckled. "I know"

The end of this, but it will be more parts if I get inspiration for them.
