"Lorelai?" You whimpered once you heard the front door open.

"Oh my gosh! (Y/N)! What happened?!" She screamed as she saw you slumped against the table.

"I talked back, and he got mad so he cut me with a beer bottle." You explained moving your hands to show a dark red stain.

"We need to get you to a hospital!" She exclaimed picking you up and running you out the front door. She placed you along the back seats of the Jeep and rushed off. Then your vision went black and the last thing you heard was Lorelai screaming to keep your eyes open.

TIME SKIP

Beep, beep, beep. Was the first thing you heard, your steady heartbeat. The first thing you felt was someone's hand interlaced with yours, you squeezed the hand, causing the person to gasp and mutter: "(Y/N)?"

Your eyes fluttered open, and you looked at your wonderful girlfriend, Rori. "Hey," You croaked. She tackled you in a kiss. She pulled away and started rambling. You only caught one thing she said.

"Would you like to come to our family dinner on Friday? They're letting you out tomorrow, so basically would you like to come to my grandparent's tomorrow night? Mom won't be there because she has something at the inn." She rambled.

"Sure, yeah, sure I'll come." You concluded.

TIME SKIP AGAIN

"Are you sure they'll like me?" You asked nervously, fidgeting with the first dress you've worn since you were 5. It looked like this:



"Yes, they'll like you. They have too." Rori reassured, grabbing your hand as Lorelai rung the doorbell. A strict looking woman opened the door,

"Rori and someone I don't know. Where is Lorelai?." She said.

"This is (Y/N) my girlfriend, and mom had something important at the inn," Rori said.

"Hello," You responded waving shyly.

"Well, why don't the two of you come inside, it's freezing out here." She said moving out of the way. Everyone shuffled in and sat in the parlor. After about five minutes of awkward silence, a tall man walked in.

"Hello Rori, and another person. And who might you be?" He asked.

"I'm (Y/N), Rori's girlfriend." You explained holding out your hand. He gladly shook it.

"I'm Rori's Grandfather, You may call me Richard." He said, " would you like some wine? " He asked. You went stiff, clutching your stitches side.

"N-no thanks." You stuttered out as Rori grabbed your hand. "I'm only sixteen anyway."

"Good thing too." He said.

"So where are You from? " Emily asked.

"Stars Hollow, never been anywhere else in my life, " You explained.

"And where do you plan on going to college?" Richard asked.

"My dad wouldn't let me, plus I could never afford it. So I've never really thought of it. " You responded scratching the back of your head nervously.

"I'm sure you have somewhere in mind." Richard probed.

"I mean, it would be nice to go to Harvard with Rori. But I'm not smart enough." You said.

"Havard is only for the best of the best," Emily concluded. "What're your parents like?"

"My mom left when I was little and my dad is an abusive alcoholic. So they're not the best people." You explained squeezing Rori's hand.

"Oh that's terrible," Emily said aghast.

"Eh, I'm not dead yet!" You exclaimed trying to lighten the mood.

"Yes, that is quite the revelation," Emily said awkwardly.

The rest of the night was really awkward...

Time Skip!

You, Rori, and Lorelai walked to Luke's dinner smiling and laughing about something. You didn't notice Luke storming out of the café towards the three of you. "She's not allowed in." Like stated pointing at you, You had forgotten the rule, and shrink back.

"Oh come on Luke, just this once?" Lorelai pleaded.

"No! She's nothing but trouble." He demanded.

"What had she ever done to you?! " Rori shot back.

"Guys, it's fine." You said quietly, "really, just being me something later. "

"No! The rule is unfair!" Rori exclaimed.

"It's really fine! I'll just go sing with the troubadour or something." You said pushing them towards the coffee house.

"I'm staying with you." Rori demanded.

"No, your not, you're going to go in there and drink your coffee and have your pancakes, and maybe bring me some." You explained pushing her more. She finally went, Lorelai and Like following, You sighed sadly. You went to go find the troubadour.

Once you did you smiled fondly, he smiled back. "Hey, can I sing with you again?" You asked shyly.

"Sure, got any songs in mind?" He asked, You nodded and whispered it into his ear, he nodded and started playing the cords on the guitar.

"That was really good!" Rori exclaimed giving you a hug. "and guess what I brought."

"What?" You exclaimed, she held up a Luke's bag.

"Pancakes!!" She cheered handing you the bag.

"Really?" You asked your voice cracking in the end.

"Yes really," she insisted. You smiled with childlike joy.

"Thank you!!" You exclaimed throwing your arms around her and peppering her face with kisses.
