"There's nobody in the world who knows me better than my sister."

"I smile because you're my sister. I laugh because you can't do anything about it."

           S is for Skiye, my sister. Currently, Skiye is 21 years old. There is roughly a six-year age gap between us. Out of my siblings, she is one of my favorite.

          If there is one thing I can always remember about Skiye is that she loves to write. Everywhere I turn, I would see Skiye writing in a notebook. Mostly, she wrote about superheroes. Often, if we got a pet, she would name it either Sky, Nick, or Nate her first three characters.

          Writing, interest in demons, and my music tastes were influenced by Skiye. Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, and many more bands that I listen to were influenced by Skiye. Superhero stories and demon stories written by Skiye were always interesting. Sometimes Skiye would combine superheroes and demons and put them in one book.

          Skiye also gives the best gifts. For my birthday one-year Skiye took me to the Renaissance Festival. I had so much fun with her there. Now she is planning on taking me to two different conventions.

          If there is anything this essay has to say it's that Skiye is amazing. We have our ups and downs, but we make it through it. She always tries to come to my band concerts and tries to get me the best gifts, but the only gift I need from Skiye is her being with me.

          When my mother can't make it to events, Skiye attempts to go for me. She teaches me how to cook, how to write, and so much more. I love all my siblings but Skiye has just always been there for me.
