"Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind."

          B is for Brant. Through and through I am a Brant and Honea. I am short, weird and amazing in my own way. I can be an angry German when playing video games, but a sweet girl when I'm with kids. If you look carefully, behind my smile you can see a glimmer of hope. Behind my eyes there's a bit of love hidden. If I had an aura it would be orange, a color that represents thoughtfulness, honesty, and forgiveness. My family always hides something behind their eyes and smiles, but you have to look closely. One thing that makes me stand out from my family is that I use both sides of my brain equally. I use a lot of creativity for art and writing, but then I use the more logical approach for academics.

          Sometimes I can be as strange as Hanji Zoe, a character from one of my favorite shows. Other times I can be sensible like Armin Arlert, another character from one of my favorite shows. I may change at times, but I'll always be like myself.

          The Brant's and Honea's always know how to do two things, be themselves and stand up for themselves. We could care less about what people think about us as long as we have the ones we care about. We enjoy spending time with each other, but sometimes we become unglued. Even to me, my family can be a mystery and can be extremely weird. Over the years people have learned not to keep a member of my family back from protecting the ones they care about, wanting to do something crazy, or caring for people. No matter what, we will find a way around whatever is holding us back. My family would rather do something stupid to help someone rather than ignore them for the sake of keeping themselves safe. Remember to never mistake our quietness for coldness.
