Alpha A
Throughout my seventh grade school year, my English teacher had the class right one essay each week relating to a letter of the alphabet. Each essay had to relate in some way to our lives. I have decided to put these essays out on Wattpad, so enjoy.

"Being different simply means you have something unique to offer the world."
A is for abnormal, at least for me. I have always found that I stand apart from others. From the beginning, it was apparent that I was adverse. As a girl dolls, dresses, makeup, hair, and such things should stand out to me, but they didn't. I appreciated fishing, video games, and sports. What did not help was me growing up with four guys and one sister. As I grew up, my admiration grew to country music, anime, writing, reading, wrestling, and being outside.
The one who affected me most was my grandfather. He taught me how to fish, enjoy being abnormal, color the best way, and much more. After his death, I grew to be confined to my room more often. There I hid, doing the things he taught me, trying to be as close as I could to him.
After a while, I had to open up to people so they could assist me as best as they could. My oldest sister and brother opened me up to another world. They introduced me to anime, a Japanese style of motion-picture animation. I found a wide variety of subgenres I adored.
As I moved around schools and cities, I learned that I'm awkward and adaptable. It may take time for me to get to a new place, but in a few weeks, I always show my true self. Part of my true self is an awkward girl. I say the most aberrant things and easily laugh it off. I laugh at the most astonishing things. I love my amateurish self.
Audacious is another way to characterize me. I will boldly say the wrong thing and shrug it off, or if something catches my eye in the woods I will go off the trail. There are not many things that scare me, at least not physical things such as animals or closed off spaces.
I guess you can say I am also Adventurous. I have always had an admiration for the woods. The mysteries that lie behind the trees and leaves have always absorbed me. Animals that I find from small to large mystify me. I will always find a way back to the green tries and brown ground.
Abnormal, awkward, adaptable, audacious, and adventurous are all different ways to describe me. No matter where I am or who I am with, I will always be myself.
