Before we get into the first story I just wanted to say that this was one of my writing assignments that I had to do for school I know that it sucks so I'm sorry but I hope that you like it anyway

I couldn't even imagine that I made that choice. That choice that changed my life. I used to be a normal kid like everyone one else but that all changed and I didn't know if it was for the good or the worst.

"Are you ready to go?" The boy with blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes in front of me asked.

Nodding, I jumped into the ocean and swam down into the water, but stopping and looking back that at the light up beach house that I used to live in. I was going to miss my family dearly. Turning forwards to the boy that was now my boyfriend; I followed him deeper and deeper in the cold blue ocean.

Hours before

They say that mermaids were bad and that they weren't real but I somewhat didn't believe that was true. I stared out of the car window on my way to our camp house. I notice there was dirty spots that covered the window. "Mom we need to clean the car." I told her, with boredom in my voice.

"Well you can clean it when we get there then." My mom told me from the driving seat.

"No way, I got stories to write." I told her. I sunken into my seat and starred up at the bright blue sky. I closed my eyes, letting my imagination take me on an adventure for my next story. I opened my eyes when I heard the sound of my father telling that we arrived to the beach house. Unbuckling I got out; grabbing my journal and quickly went to my room. I opened the door tripping over the rug like always I rushed to the room. Closing the door I jump and settled in bed, and started to write.

Hours passed and I went down to the ocean and wrote there. I sat on the beach chair that was soaking wet and freezing from my mom sitting in it earlier after her swim. We had our own privet beach to ourselves so it was quiet all I could hear was the sound of the waves pushing and pulling from the beach line.

Jumping from ruff top, to ruff top. Gracie girl stopped, at the site of how far away the next ruff was.

'I can make it.' She told herself with a smirk. She took a few steps back then started to run with everything that her legs would go. She leaped off the building....

*Splash.* Looking up, coming out of my thought, I looked for where that sound was. Seeing nothing I went back to writing. Then I heard it again. Looking up I then saw a head of what I told tell it was a boy with blonde hair.

"Hey you're not supposed to be here." I yelled getting up forgetting my story and walking to the water line.

He swam closer "You're the one that I needed to find." "Ashley. Do you remember me?"

"Ahh...no sorry man but you can't be here this is my par-"

"But it's time you have to come back with me." He said cutting me off

"Time for what." I questioned

"For become one with what you were meant to be."

"Oh and what would that be?" I asked

"To become a mermaid" He said

"WHAT...MERMAID. I'M NOT A MERMAID. YOUR CRAZ..." I was cut off by the site of a tail. His tail. "You're a mermaid." I was shock. I never knew that they were real or that I would be talking to one.

"Yes and your one to. Please come to the water, you will be able to turn. You have the choice to though, but I have to tell you that if you don't it will hurt."

"I- ah... but what will happened?" I asked

"If you don't come or if you turn?"

"If I do?" I asked cirsouly

"Well it won't hurt just well...your legs will feel tingly, like little niddles."

"I don't know."

"If you do, you will leave this world but there's a caught."

"What's that?" I asked

"You have to be my girlfriend."

I did have a hard life, the only time that I could get about was when I was writing. I was in a deep thought but then I came to my choice "I'll do it." I started to walk slowly to the water but then stopped. "I'll do it but I have to write something first." I ran to my journal opening up to a new page and started to write.

I'm sorry that I despaired but my life sucks and I can't take it anymore. I love you guys. I don't know if I will be back but I'm sorry.
