he hasn't seen his bro in years they both have changed. he lost his optic in battle by a blast from an Autobot. he was a con, not cuz he wanted to be he had to in order to live. after the war ended he became a clerk just going wherever to get money and clean. from the war he suffered from a lot of things,he can barely sleep at night,he has bipolar, depression, anxiety,he sometimes has anxiety attacks at random.

he was once Megatron 2nd in command for a bit. and when he would mess up on a mission, Megatron would replace one of his limbs with someone else's. he still has those limbs they are a reminder of his failure. its been years since he saw Megatron as well. and he hoped he would never see him again, if he did he said he would have a breakdown or a heart attack.

it has also been a long time since he saw his brother,he has no idea his brother became a prime,he dose remember his brother and he..doesn't miss him much at all,hotrod was a bit mean to rider when they were younger and such.
