So in that new restaurant wars episode, when Steven and Connie unfused during the race, it was Connie who had the jacket. But if Steven is the actual gem why wouldn't he be wearing it? I may be wrong but I don't think Connie was wearing that before fusion. Maybe her parents are part gems? Maybe that's why they're so protective?
