An inner monologue of Jackie's thoughts.

Leonard is a puppy.

Jackie has found this out in many ways.

He follows her around like he needs to make up for being alive.

His whole stature makes it look like he's constantly apologizing for existing.

He is such a nervous boy.

He's incredibly smart but so skittish at the same time.

Jackie thinks he has anxiety and maybe some PTSD of some sort.

Maybe Jackie should get him into therapy.

Probably.

Oh and Leo also flinches a lot.

Don't hug Leo has gone on her daily reminders.

It's so difficult though, he looks like he really needs a hug.

He just doesn't seem adjusted to physical contact.

Or maybe he's too used to it.

Maybe he was more than just phycologically beaten by his mother.

Jackie thought she saw him bring a makeup box while he was moving his stuff over.

Maybe she should check that out.

Yeah she knows too much about the new boy.

Should I write something looking into the abuse? I don't have experience in that area but ima be honest I've read a lot of fanfics exploring that area, and I'll keep it simple.
