Beautiful things come in many shapes. They always look good in the eyes. They are attractive, comfortable, interesting and all the positive descriptive words that could be given to a thing. Most of these beautiful things can give us feeling of satisfaction and sometimes relief. However, beautiful things, regardless of what they are, can also hurt us especially if we are too carried away and indulged with it. No matter how attractive things are, they always have a way of destroying others. Our life is surrounded by beautiful things. A person himself has beautiful things inside him. A family also has it. But, as we can see in reality, a person can still hurt others even he was perfectly made by our Creator. In a family, people tend to hurt each other too. This may not be the same for everyone but that is the reality.

One of my professors said that life should not be seen in a rosy color. I always find happiness in all things and I look to the world positively. The sad thing is that life has its grey parts. Life for me isn’t perfect but it has always been beautiful. Today, you’ll feel happy or excited. Tomorrow, perhaps, you’ll cry or feel anxious about something. At some point of our life, we experience being in love but unfortunately we also get hurt in the process. This is a great mystery of life. No matter how beautiful things are, they all have way of hurting. For some reason, things can’t be beautiful enough without its imperfections. Maybe, we could appreciate these things a little more if we see its good and bad side.

Our pain might be the beautiful thing inside us. There’s beauty in pain. Walking alone while seeing the stars might be the best part of the day. Crying, for some people, make them feel good.  Things tend to be this way to create balance to the world.
