The Fault In Our Stars

If you were to imagine the complexities of life
One could really say that ain't easy to survive
For life is not just happy all the time
Joy could lift your heart for a while, but the pain will strike most of the time
And when I think of tragedies and misfortunes in existing
How evil and wretched it would have been
For there is no one to blame when it occurs
Just accept the truth that star has it faults
Tragedies are violent, fictions have told
Romeo and Juliet for instance is the best source
Romeo did take the risk of climbing off the walls
Just to see her Juliet, the love he bestowed
Though the truth had already lain that she's a Capulet and he's a Montague
Their love would ablaze their parents' strife
Yet differences are nothing when love prevails
And they married each other without their parents knowing
They really thought it would be all
that happiness will always boost
and nothing will interfere in their
passion
But evils in life are always present
They're everywhere and kept hidden
For when chances come, they could rip
And intervene in the sketch already plotted
And that time, Romeo had escaped
To be exiled in the city and abandoned his land
For having shed his blood to his lover's cousin
But he never could live without his lady
Through the friar's help, Juliet took the poison
In order to escape the marriage with man not his own
And slept within forty-two hours as if dead
A letter for Romeo was sent to inform
That a plan was made for their desired reunion
But again, the mandate of heaven was a painful one
The letter was not sent according to the plan
But the death of Juliet never skipped him instead
He came back to land where his love was left
And to see his Juliet he longed in her deathbed
But the fate was horrible and always cold
He killed himself of poison after he laid his eyes on her
Just few moments before Juliet's eyes opened
Oh! Time! How could you be so evil?
To let these two souls step the suicidal stage
She saw her Romeo in his dreadful state
She clasped the vial and dipped into her mouth
Hoping to kill herself with even just drops
But a dagger, rather, is used to stab herself
And together, they joined in loathsome death
How tragic it is!
When they already found true love
And death is the end of the tale -
The destiny of these star crossed lovers
Living in this world has never been easy
When you get hold of something, it will let go
Things come which you have never asked for
That is an an irony, nobody knows what it holds
There was once a man whose name was Oedipus
His life was foreseen to be involved in chaos
That he would end up killing his father with his own hands
And marry his mother, blood of his blood
He was handed down from man to another man and adopted by the king who whose name was Polybos
He was loved and cared of high degree and there he heard the strange oracle
He decided to escape the tragic truth
He fled to a land to cease such a disgrace
But how saddest fate to have reached the unfortunate place
The land where he was born, the land he saved from being torn
He had killed his father without him knowing
And married his mother and was throned as king
Later, truth revealed itself
He was the son of the late king
And the son of the queen, his mother and wife
Succumbed by the guilt, he broached his eyes
It was no use for him for it chiefly wrecked his life
Was blind to fathom the truth
His mother, the queen, ended her own life
They were adjoined in fate, tragedy is the stem
Of ghastly misfortune they never wished
They shunned the things that could lead to shame
But fate is so powerful, their actions have steered
To meet the tragic fate that was basically schemed
But these circumstances had no one to blame for prophecy had to happen
Subjects did not have the power to break nor change them
To take the risk is a horrible part
When darkness dominates and not the spark
Destinies are crossed and torment is the lead
Our fate is sketched, a grievous life ahead
For life is easy within few happy hours
And when the tragedy comes, it's the fault in our stars.
