Kari sighed. This was the fifth night in a row that she had been up until two in the morning. She looked outside.

"It's not full moon, why am I awake?"

Sighing, she sat on her bed. She wanted to go talk to Papyrus, but he was probably sleeping.

Looking into the hallway, Kari crept down to the kitchen. "A little catnip should put me to sleep."

She went inside and got some catnip.

"Kari?"

Kari jumped at the familiar voice and turned around.

"Hey Pap.."

"Why're you up so late?"

"Um... I can't sleep..."

"Me either."

Papyrus sat down on the couch, leaving enough room for Kari, who sat next to him.

"It's kinda hard, you know, since James is working a night shift and Kat's at college. I need someone there."

Papyrus nodded. "Well, I'm here for ya, if you ever need anything."

Kari nodded and leaned into him. Then the smiled. "You smell like honey."

He smiled back. "Isn't that normal?"

Kari nodded. So warm...

She soon fell asleep.

Papyrus sighed. For once, I'm actually sleepy.

He looked at Kari's sleeping form and smiled. "Goodnight," he whispered. He fell asleep with a gentle smile.

The next day, Sans came downstairs to cook breakfast.

"Oh. My. Stars." 

He rushed back upstairs to get his phone and take a picture. He sent it to James and Kat.

James: Stars that's adorable, love it XD

Kat: Cute, I knew Kari liked him but never really thought she'd actually show it.

Blueberry: I know, right? Cute!!!

Kari woke up. She tried to get up, but something was on her. She looked to see an orange arm...? That's a hoodie... wait.

Kari squeaked, blushing. She quickly teleported into a closet, curling up, still blushing. Papyrus woke up, looking around. "Huh. Guess that was just a dream..." He sighed, then looked at Sans. "Um... Bro?"

"Yes, Pappy?"

"What're you doing?"

"Oh, look at this picture I got!"

Papyrus saw it, flushed an orange color, and got up. "I- er, I need to go get breakfast. Bye." He teleported away.

Blueberry: They're both flustered, its too cute!

Kat: It makes sense, wih their characters and everything.

Kat: With*

James: Cute!

Ooohhh, I actually did a one-shot?

Anyways, I might make a story. People who read my other stories know I finished my book called Fly Away. Well, I need to pick between these stories.

Or I could just make an original story.
