Ringing Bell
Tw// Death
So, I discovered this Japanese film called Ringing Bell
It stars a cute little Lamb named Chirin
But one day, a wolf named Woe comes in and slaughters most of the herd Chirin is a part of, particularly, killing Chirin's mother
Chirin tracks down Woe, and tries to kill him, but can't since he's a little Lamb
So Woe, amused by Chirin's attemp, mentors Chirin to become a wolf
And he takes to it quite well, becoming more violent and more like a wolf
Years later....Chirin is all grown up, and he and Woe head to the herd to go eat them
But instead of killing the sheep....Chirin kills Woe...
And when Chirin tries to be accepted back into the herd...he is rejected and they all see him as a monster.
Chirin, dejected and depressed, walks away and is never seen again, and it's heavily implied that he dies.
But....what if he didn't die? Most translations simply have it that Chirin was never seen again.
What if he met a certain someone? Or rather, two someones?
Chirin...I know how you feel. I felt the same way with Henry. To finally get what you wanted, only for it to not want you needed at all. I know how that feels. And if the other sheep won't accept you...me and Alastor will. How's that sound?
