Tenyie was in her room texting her best friend, Rey when her stepfather Bakugou called her. "Ugh..." she groaned and walks to the living room. "What?"

Kay and Bakugou were sitting on the couch. "Can you sit down? We need to talk," Kay said, Tenyie went and sat down on the recliner, seeming annoyed. "Does he have to be here? If it's just us, than he has no reason to be here-" "This is why." Bakugou said, interrupting her. "This is why we need to talk. You act like I'm some burden, that I did something wrong when I've been here, help your mother, your sister, and you, but for some reason, you just think I'm this terrible guy. What the hell did I do?" Bakugou asked, looking at her with sadness in his eyes. Tenyie looked away, not saying anything. 

"Why won't you talk to us? We're your parents," Kay said. "Is it because I married your mom? Or that I'm a hero that has a higher rank than Kaminari? What is it?"

"You're trying to replace dad!" Tenyie yelled, finally saying something. "Huh?" Kay and Bakugou say at the same time, Tenyie look up at them with tears in her eyes. "The second dad left, you took your opportunity to prove you're better, you can make us happier, you make it seem like you care, when really...you just want to rub in dad's face that mom loves you, and not him...you say  you care, but how much is true? How much is just to prove to your friends that you got the girl, why do you have to pretend to love us when you don't?! You just want to make it seem like my dad is weak, but he's not! Even though he's the strongest hero there is, he gets to see us whenever he wants, so why are you trying to take us from him? Why?!" Tenyie asked, tears rolling down her face.

Bakugou got up, and walked over to her, patting her head. "I'm not trying to replace your dad," he told her, which made her look at him. "I don't want to rub anything in his face, their relationship didn't turn out how they wanted, but everything I do, everything I say, I do it for our  family. That include you, your sister, mother, and your father." Tenyie looked surprised. "Y...you see him as family...?" "Of course I do, if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have you or your sister to love, to care for, to worry about, you girls are my life, but know I didn't marry your mom just to look better. I'm not like that. I love her, and you, and Tensey, and Iida, okay? I can see where you're coming from, but you should get that out of your head now. I will never make your mother miserable, I will never tell Iida that I'm better, because he's kinda better than me."

Tenyie smiled, and hugged Bakugou for the first time. He smiled, then hugged her back. Kay smiled happily. "...We're finally a family."
