Boy In the Bubble
Aizawa was staring down at Koy. He was bloody and battered, his clothes slightly torn. "You wanna explain what happened?" he asked, his arms crossed. "...Met someone from middle school..."
Koy used to fight all the time in middle school. Unlike Bakugou, he didn't stop at just insults, he would get bloody. In sixth grade, he hadn't reached his growth spirt yet, and wasn't as strong. "Hey, Minti boy, how's it feel to be privileged?" a bully asked, Koy glared at him. "Fuck off. I'm not privileged." "Ooo! Someone's mad! You're as tempered at Bakugou!" The kid laughed, and Koy balled his hand into a fist. "Koy, let's just go..." Kay said, trying to lead him away. "Tch, you're such a bitch, taking orders from your hoe sister?" the bully said with a grin. "Oi! Keep it up and-" Before Bakugou could finish, Koy punched the kid. "Shut your fucking mouth!" he yelled. The bully chuckled. "Oh, you wanna fight?"
The bully punches Koy square in the jaw. Koy gritted his teeth a bit, but grinned slightly, looking at him. "Is that it?" he asked, the bully's smile faded. Koy put his hands up, looking at the bully with a sickening grin. "I'm ready for a fight." Koy blocked, but the bully got a good punch in his face. The more he hit him, the more Koy grinned. "Why the hell are you smiling?!" Koy just chuckled. "I know you want the satisfaction, it's not gonna happen," after he said that, he punched the kid in the gut, knocking him to the ground. "Bastard..." the bully then leg-sweeped Koy and kicked him on the ground.
"After a while, a couple of teachers pulled us apart," Koy explained, leaning back. "So, you fought this kid a lot?" Aizawa asked, Koy nodded. "It got worse when I grew halfway through seventh grade."
Koy had become taller, but his temper became worse. "Whoa, look who became a giant," the bully said with a snarky grin. "You want to get beaten?" Koy asked with a glare. "Fiesty as always, ey? Looks like your sister or friend aren't near. They're probably in the bathroom f-" Koy suddenly pushed him away. "Shut it!" he yelled, but the kid then punched him in the face, breaking his nose and making it bleed. Koy licked some of the blood that was on his lip, grinning. "Heh...do it again," he said, having a twisted smile before putting his hands up. The bully threw a punch, but Koy blocked before headbutting him. The kid backed up, but shook it off, then gave him a left hook. The more the kid beat him up, the more Koy just smiled, and then suddenly he kicked the bully down. "Come on, I thought you were strong! You beat me up a lot last year!" he said, kicking the bully in the gut. "Fight me! Make me bleed!"
"...And we got suspended," Koy said, scratching the back of his head," Koy told Aizawa, who sighed. "So what, you fought him again?" he asked. "Not him, actually," Koy said, sitting up. "This time, it was his dad."
A few hours ago, Koy met the past bully. "Oh...Minti boy," the kid said, Koy just smiled softly. "Hey..." The kid was a little stunned, making Koy chuckle. "I'm not as angry as I used to be...I'm sorry for fighting a lot."
"It's not your fault...I usually started it."
"Still, I could've handled it better...hopefully things are better for you." The kid looked away, rubbing his neck. "I wish they were...but..." "Hm? What is it?" Koy got closer, putting his hands in his pocket. The kid sighed. "Look...I didn't bully you because I hated you...well, at first...you were weaker and...it was kind of an escape from my dad..." Koy's eyes widened. "Does...does he beat you?"
"..."
"Let me go talk to him..."
The kid was hesitant but decided to do it. The two talked and made up on the way there before making it to the house. "He won't hold back..." "Heh, you think that'll stop me?" Koy asked with a grin before going in. The kid's drunk father was gulping down some whiskey when he heard them come in. "What the hell took you so-" he started before he turned, seeing Koy. "Ugh...who the hell are you?" "I'm Koy...I hear you like beating up kids," he said, grinning slightly. "You...brat...I told you not to tell anyone!" the dad said, he went to go hit the kid, but Koy got in the way, taking the hit. Koy chuckled a bit. He looked at the dad with a grin before putting his hands up. "I'm ready for a fight..."
Koy fought the drunken man, getting hit a couple of times, but like before, he just grinned before attacking back. The dad growled, punching him in the torso over and over before knocking Koy down. Koy just laughed. "You think this is funny?!" the dad asked, kicking him. "You're the one who suffers," Koy said before leg sweeping him, making the man fall. "Ughh..." the man tried to get up, but Koy put his foot on his chest. "Take a rest, sir-"
The man then grabbed Koy's leg, pulled him down, and started throwing hits. "Die, you punk!" "D-Dad, sto-" "Stay back!" Koy yelled at the kid. He took each hit before the man got tired, and soon knocked him off balance, kicking him in the gut. The dad layed there, wheezing. "Next time you try beating a kid...come find me, I like the taste of blood," he said standing up. "K...Koy...why did you do that..." the kid asked, Koy smiled at him. Not his sick smile, but a gentle, comforting smile. "You needed help, that's what heroes do."
"So...you were beaten up by a drunken man?" Aizawa asked. "Yep, that's what happened," he said, wiping the blood from his nose. Aizawa sighed. "Next time...just get a pro..."
"Heh...maybe."
