I am broken, some words aren't meant to be spoken
But you still did, I'm such a little kid
Crying in my bed, because of the words you said
Now I'm alone, this hurts more than a broken bone
You said it was over, guess I was just wishing you were hungover
But you didn't drink, I need a moment to let it sink
I loved you so much, now I'm cursing in Dutch

I let out a scream, maybe it was just a dream
I'm trying to move, I need something to prove
That this is a dream, things are not what they seem
I feel myself slowly sink away, everything gets a little gray

I wake, "Oh, for god sake."
You're looking in my eyes, I let out soft cries
"What's wrong" you ask, I know you think making me happy is your task
If forgot we were just friends, guess this is where the dream ends
I let my heart out, ignoring the doubt
That the friendship ends, I loved being friends
But the doubts were wrong, what you said was more beautiful than a song
"You want to go on a date?" you asked me out?!, "Yes!" I nearly shout

It was amazing, and we repeated this thing
Lots of time, until you were all mine
Now we are together, I am dancing and feeling as light as a feather
I get sucked out of my dream about a happily ever after, by your laughter
but it doesn't matter because this isn't just my imagination, I love this combination

Now I'm staring at your picture, I don't understand this emotional mixture
You died, I cried and cried
I know we are old, but I just wished you wouldn't let me in the cold
Kinda wished you'd let me go first, I can't stand this thirst
This thirst for you, after all we went through
It is too cold outside when I hit the ground with my side.
Maybe this is my end, I can't
I run out of breath, this is my death
Nobody's around, there is no sound
Except for my words, even though I'm shaking like guitar chords
"I love you, see you soon.", I say as I look up the moon
It's just the moon and me, the last I'll ever see
As I close my eyes, I silence my cries.
Goodbye, don't cry
No why, just goodbye

I don't regret anything, because you were my king
I had the best life, I was your wife
I will never be sad, not even mad
Love was the cause, because
We were together then, you were my man.
