You looked over at the figure next to you, their form a mere shadow against the light

They didn't move, they didn't talk. And yet every time you got home you would wave at them, a slight smile caressing your face while you put down your bag down on the floor

The figure also liked stealing your breakfast

Truth be told most of the time you had to eat the food in the school cafeteria because of them. Go figure. Nor did they seem fazed by your anger every time you got home to scold them
