I hate them.

Like have a nickname do your own thing

I have a bunch of nicknames 

Lizzy ,Ella, Beth, Eve's twin (only certain people can call me the last 3)

But the thing I hate about nicknames, are when you can't tell there nicknames.

It blew my mind to learn the Bill Nye's name is William

Then I literally started screaming when I learned that someone I knew, Billy, was in fact William

Then, just today, I learn Misha Collins name isDmitri!

I don't know why these things surprise me so much but I hate it
