Ok, so my Dad had an ACNH island that he barely played anymore, and I was a resident. However, I was extremely limited to what I could do, since my Nintendo account can't access communication features. So, when I brought up that I wanted to play, he told me I could erase his data and start new.

Granted, this is at like midnight Sunday morning, so that's why it's dark.
