So, there has been a very popular issue in our country.

Since it is election week, candidates would do their best to earn the people's heart and trust and one of those methods is to use icons/celebrities.

There's this famous love team in our country who is endorsing one of the presidential candidates and with that said, they were slammed with hate and are questioned of the type of leader they choose/chose.

I honestly respect their decision but what really caught my attention was when one of them said something like this:

They are not registered voters so just shut up.

Not exactly the words but you get the gist, right?

It really caught my attention because this statement sounded rude even if the said statement has been said by a lot of people throughout the media tons of times. Plus, it came from an influential person.

My opinion is that I think even the youth has a say about the fate of this country, even if it includes voting and stuff. We live in the same motherland so why can't we have a say about the country's future leaders?

So don't you say we should shut up. Yes we can't vote, but it doesn't mean we can't share our thoughts, opinions,etc. for our beloved country.

Remember, it's our country too.
