Okay, so I have a theory about the when the release date for season 3 is. So I thought that most MCSM fans knew about the whole S3 thing, but apparently I was wrong. So if you do know about the hints for S3 then you can go ahead and skip the explanation, but if not then there it is:

The last choice you make at the end of episode 5 of season 2 is whether to stay in Beacontown or leave with Petra off on adventures. If you leave with Petra then nothing really happens. If you stay in Beacontown, then Radar will ramble on for a minute, but there are two very important things that he says. --1. He'll say that you got a letter from someone named Aiden who wants to apologize.--2. He'll say that you got another letter from someone named "WP" who only says "Watch out". And it's pretty much decided by the fandom that "WP" stands for "White Pumpkin".

Release date estimation:
So S3 isn't official but I'm 98% sure that it'll be a thing. Besides, Telltale usually runs its games for about 5 seasons, and MCSM is very popular. I hate math, but I'm such a big dork that I actually did the math to estimate when it'll be released. They released episode 8 of S1 on September 13th of 2016, and episode 1 of S2 was released on July 11th. That's a 10 and 1/2 month difference for them to come up with an entirely new story. So I'm going to estimate that the first episode of S3 is going to come out somewhere between September-November! It's so loooooong! Now, remember, that is only an estimation and I have no solid evidence to give.
