Falsely Accused - Story (Collab)
Jesse, Petra, and Jack crept down one of Romeo's mystery tower's hallways, their swords drawn. Being as silent as possible, all three of them were constantly looking left and right, back and forth, in every direction, from every angle. If they got caught now, Beacontown, along with the world, would be a miserable wasteland just like The Underneath. And none of them, especially Jesse, couldn't bare that thought. But that would only happen if they did get caught.
"Okay, I'm not the only one that finds all this silence freaky, right? This place is dead." Petra asked with clear hesitance in her voice. Her movements visibly becoming slower and sensitive.
"Definitely strange...though I imagine you might be relieved to have a little quiet right now, huh?" Jack lightly chuckled. Jesse only rolled her eyes, knowing that he was only teasing. They continued down the hallway, passing what looked like speakers, glowstone, and red colored redstone lamps up above. It was clear that Romeo used all different types of materials in his builds, such as: Redstone blocks, Diorite, Andersite, stone, cobblestone, stone slabs, Quartz. Jesse found it all interesting...but weird. But Jack had broke her thoughts, "I was almost expecting, I don't know, another huge boss battle or something when we got in here." Petra couldn't agree more.
"Yeah, the Admin definitely seems to like those. But...nothin'."
"Nah, it's kinda hard to relax when you're in the middle of infiltrating a humongous tower owned by a deadly madman as you try to find his office and take away his powers." Jesse added kinda saltily. Jack and Petra were slightly taken aback by Jesse's brutality honest response. "That's...fair." Jack replied. Shortly after, they stumbled into a room large with Romeo' s insignia on the center of the back wall and floor. And the two side walls had what looked like a hundred strange looking prison cells. It sent an icy chill down each of their spines. This room was clearly the center of the tower, so despite them really not wanting to, they had to walk through it. As Jesse looked up at each cell, she couldn't actually see anyone inside, which she found very odd. She got an uneasy feeling in her stomach, as did Petra and Jack. And as if on cue, a noise came from behind them. But once they had turned around, ready to face anything or anyone, they found nothing. They instinctively formed a circle, looking all over the room for whatever made that noise.
But suddenly another sound echoed throughout the rooms, bouncing off its walls. It was different sound however, one that Jesse thought sounded like some sort of shuffling, along with footsteps. From out of the shadows, the figure showed it's face..."Well, look who it is..." The young woman called out, her eyebrows furrowed. Two more figure came out from the shadows behind her; a man in all orange with five parrots birched on his arms and head, and another young woman with brown hair and a blue and white stripped shirt. "Come out and play-i-aay!" Someone who sounded like they had a sore throat cried. Before they knew it, they were surrounded by a group of people wearing black leather Jackets. Jesse was confused, and hesitant, and just....confused, all at the same time. "Hey, uh, guys. What's...going on?" Jesse asked. Why were her friends forming a very protective and intimidating circle around her?
Then her heart skipped a beat and she drew in a sharp breath at the sound of a familiar voice. It was one she longed to hear, one that got her through being in prison, the one that gave her courage. Now a little ways to her left, was a man with bright blonde hair and eyes that shone like sapphires. "Stand down, Ocelots." He commanded, and they obeyed swiftly. With a furrowed brow, he glared at them fiercely, specifically at Jesse. The warm feeling that was in her heart and visible on her cheeks was now gone...
"Looks like the tables have finally turned, huh, Jesse?" Her heart sank...and she could instantly feel hot tears begin to rise. But she stayed silent, too overcome with multiple confusing thoughts and emotions to where she didn't know what to say. "We can't let you keep doing what you're doing." He sighed, crossing his arms. "That's enough, Nell." He said, referring to the girl to his left. She apologized and stuck the iron nuggets that she was shuffling in her hands into her pocket.
"Guys, Lukas! I think you're confused--it's me." Jesse pleaded.
"Oh, we're not confused. We know exactly who you are." He declared threateningly. The Ocelots started to close in on all three of them, their weapons drawn. "Now, guys, hang on--"
"No! It's our turn to talk. Not yours, not anymore." Lukas began to pace around us, his hands behind his back. "I reformed the Ocelots because I wanted to remind everyone of how things were before. And most of all...I wanted to remind you. Because the Jesse I know wouldn't be running around on some power trip, locking people up!"
"Lukas--"
"So yeah, I set your prisoners free! What are you gonna do about it?" He threatened. Jesse was...distraught...she was on the verge of tears. She thought of what she could say to him, how she could convince him that she was real. That she was the real Jesse. After a few moments of silence as she let her head hang low, she ultimately decided that words weren't the way to go. She dropped her sword and slid it over to Lukas with her foot. Tears slowly began to escape from her tear ducts and down her cheeks, still refusing to make eye contact. "Lukas, it wasn't me..." She whispered. Petra and Jack, though thoroughly confused, did the same, and dropped their swords, sliding them across the floor to where they were out of reach. Lukas joined in their confusion, not understanding why Jesse would relinquish her weapon so willingly. Not only that, but she just...stood there, tears falling down her cheeks, refusing to make eye contact with him.
"Grab them!" Lukas yelled.
Instantly, about six Ocelots grabbed their arms with an inescapable grip. Jesse's breath began to heavily shutter and tears began to pour more and more. "Lukas!--" Jesse cried.
"Ahh!" Petra struggled.
"Jesse, what's the game plan here?" Jack asked a little panicked.
"Take them to the--" But Lukas was cut off...
"Look at my left hand." Jesse suggested. It left everyone dead silent...and all movement had ceased. Jesse couldn't see Lukas' face since his back was turned to her, but he was so shocked and confused beyond all belief. It was an odd suggestion that no one understood why she made, not even Petra or Jack. But despite that, the Ocelots continued to drag Jesse, Petra, and Jack, back to wherever they were gonna keep them. "L-Lukas!--"
"Wait!" Lukas commanded. Everyone went back to silence, and no one moved a muscle. The Ocelots stared at him, waiting for their next order. Lukas turned around and glared at Jesse. "What do you mean...'look at your left hand?' " Lukas asked slowly and curiously. Jesse let out a sigh of relief. "Please, just do it..." She said softly. Lukas gave a small nod to Nell, who was holding Jesse's left hand, and lifted it up. Jesse looked at him with such desperate expectation as she was looking for some reaction out of him. And she got some...but not much. He eyes widened ever so slightly, then immediately looked at the ground. Though Jesse didn't know it, looking at her left hand had broke him. It was so hard remembering that day a few months ago, he just wanted the Jesse that he had--That was his to hold...
"What of it?" He asked, turning back around, his back facing her once more. They both stayed silent...they all stayed silent...
"Lukas...the admin doesn't wear an engagement ring..." She whispered, tears spilling down her cheeks. His muscles tensed and drew a sharp but silent breath as his eyes widened. He thought back to first moment he had with Jesse--the admin--
He remembered looking up at 'Jesse' as she stood in the center of the circle of their treasures, her favorite spot in the castle. He called out to her "Hey, Honey!" He greeted warmly. He was ready for a huge hug and a kiss if he could steal one from her. But to his surprise, he got nothing but a cold shoulder. Her back was turned to him, just as he was doing to 'the real Jesse' now. "Jesse?" He asked again, a bit weirded out at this point. She slowly turned around to reveal her eyes glowing yellow with red pupils and a wicked smile to match. Suddenly, with a flick of her hand, she--...she...he didn't remember what happened next. All he knew was that he woke up in a cage sometime after. Needless to say, he remembered that moment vividly, as if it had just happened moments ago.
'S-She didn't have...an engagement ring...'
He looked back at Jesse with the face that she was begging to see: realization. "Lukas, Sir?" Nell asked, confused, but still motionlessly holding onto Jesse. Petra and Jack were just kinda wondering what the heck was happening and how awkward it was. Jesse gave him a bright smile as tears started to spill off of Lukas' cheeks. His sapphire blue eyes and her emerald green one stared into each other in the same way they had when they'd first met. He was still thoroughly shocked and out of breath, and he began to stumble his way towards her.
"L-Let them go!" He ordered through his breaths.
The Ocelots hesitantly released their hold on Jesse, Petra, and Jack. The moment Jesse hit the floor, Lukas dropped to his knees and tightly wrapped his arms around her, repeatedly whispering his apologies into her raven-black hair as his body shook with sobs. Jesse returned the equally as tight hug as she whispered her reassurances back. 'It's okay, it's okay, it's okay, it's okay, it's okay, don't apologize." She began to stroke his silky blonde hair as tears of joy streamed down her face. But he continued to apologize anyway. She forced him to pull away from her, to reveal his red and tear stained cheeks. A pure face of horror was written across his face, as he feared that she didn't forgive him, that she was rejecting him after what awful things he'd accused her of. But instead, she pulled him in closer--closer into a kiss, one that was sweeter than sugar. It visibly shocked him at first, but he soon melted into it, gently holding her head in his hands and smiling against her lips.
Bloopers XD ⬇️
Petra, Jack, Stampy, Stacy, Nell, and the New Ocelots all just kinda...stood there...letting the awkwardness of the moment sink in as Lukesse just started kissing, not caring at all that they're doing this right in front of them. Some looked away to be polite, some looked away because they couldn't handle the awkwardness, and some just stared and smiled a bit too widely at the sight of their ship happening before them XD
"YOU'RE ENGAGED?!" Petra yelled.
I LOVE IT!! *fangirl squeals* ❤️❤️❤️ Guys...this is a very special oneshot. 1. Because I pored my heart and soul into this one (with nearly 2,000 words) and 2. Because this is a collab with my friend Em! Or better known as EmTheMinecraftTurd (the same girl who I drew artwork for, absolutely FANGIRLED over her book "Renegade", and have been talking to a bunch since) She did a version of the same basic idea of this oneshot in her MCSM oneshots book. She's a really good writer, go read it and give her some love! If you like her work, then you can definitely give her a request just as I did.
Anyways, tell me what you think!
