This song makes me think of this for some reason, also let's just say for the sake of the book you're allowed to own more than one bey.

It was Shu against Kerindia in the finals. Shu was about to head out. "Shu," Kerindia called, she then grabbed his hand. He stopped and glared at her, but she didn't seem scared. Her eyes glowed gently. "You can look all big and scary, but know that no matter what, I am going to bring you back so you can stop this, my dad was trying to do the same thing you did, but you know what would've happen? He wouldn-" Shu intrupted her by grabbing her throat roughtly and tightly. "I don't care what you have to say...Shu is gone, and I will crush you just like I did your cousin..." he said, Kerindia was gasping for air. 

Wakiya saw, and pushed him away. "Keep your hand off of her!" he yelled as Kerindia coughed. Shu then walked off. "Are you okay?" Wakiya asked gently. "Yeah...I'm fine, here, watch this for me," she said, handing him something, then went to the stage. Wakiya looks at the object. "Huh?"

The two get onto the stage, Kerindia's eyes were glowing red as she glared at Shu. "You're going down," she said, getting ready, Shu grinned evily. "I will end you," he said, also getting ready. "You're weak," she said, closing her eyes. "Hey, what are you-" "Start counting," Kerindia said.

"First battle! Ready? Set!"

Kerindia opens her eyes, launching. "LET IT RIP!" she yelled, launching her bey into the stadium. Spryzen was going to do a counter clockwise stamina. But Shu's eyes widen a bit, seeing her bey. 

"Wait a minute, has Kerindia Tategami changed her bey to...Rock Leon?!" the announcer said. "Wait what?!" Honcho said. "She did?" Valt said. "Yeah, she did," Wakiya told them, showing them Pegasus

Flashback

"Here, hold this," Kerindia said, handing him an object, and she walked to the stage. Wakiya looks in his hands and sees Pegasus. "Huh?" 

End of Flashback

Wakiya thought for a bit. After a little bit, Spryzen gets knocked out. "Leon with a ring out finish!" the ref said. "You chreated, you used a bey that doesn't burst," Shu said, Kerindia picked up Leon, twisting it. She showed him the pieces. "You'd really think I'd work on Pegasus, but not Leon? I guess you were right, Shu is gone, because he's not an idiot like you," she said, putting Leon back together and getting ready. Shu growled, getting ready. It's a defence type, maybe clockwise stamina mode this time. Shu thought, switching modes.

"I hope she beats him..." Valt said. "Why would she switch out beys? Pegasus is strong," Honcho said. "Maybe she wanted to confuse him and actually make him think better than usual, he's probably going to try to fight her like she's a defence," Raul said. "But, Leon is a defence type," Honcho said. "It was used like an attack type," Silas said. "I used to watch Kyoya's matches on tv, they were re-runs, but it was still something, he would mostly use Rock Leon like it was an attack type, there were multiple times he used it as an defence, but if Red Eye thinks she's going to keep using it as a defence, he's in for a surprise," he explained. "So, she's using Leon to throw him off?" Kit asked. "Something like that," Silas said.

"The second battle! Ready? Set!"

"LET IT RIP!" the two yelled, launching their beys into the stadium. Shu's eyes widen, seeing Leon spin around like a attack. "What?" he mumbled. "You know nothing about Leon..." Kerindia said, "go Leon! Attack!" she yelled, Leon attacked Spryzen. "K-keep your defence up!" Shu yelled. 

Leon hits Spryzen away, taking the middle, a green aura surrounded Kerindia. "Come on Leon, let's do this!" she yelled. Someone walked into the place, leaning against the wall. Free saw him, he then looked back at the match. "Haven't seen you for a few years," Free said to the person.

"Spryzen!" Shu yelled, a red aura around him. "Recreum whip!" (I think, if that's wrong I'm surry) Shu rushed to Leon. "Leon, Lion Gale Force Wall!" (she knows that like she knows Star Blast attack okie? It for the sake of the chapter) she yelled, and a tornado was forming on the inside of the stadium, which picked up Spryzen, then it bursted, the pieces flying out.

"Leon with a burst finish, Kerindia Tategami wins the tournament!" the ref announced. "YEAH!!!" Honcho and Valt yelled. "She did it!" Kit and Honey yelled. Kerindia, however, passed out. "Is she okay?!" Valt asked. "She used a lot of energy, she's probably just a sleep," Raul said. 

The person by Free chuckled a bit. "She better than I was," he said. It was Kyoya Tategami. "You should say hi when she wakes up instead of abandoning her again," Free said, Kyoya looked at him. "I didn't abandon her, I was taken from her," he said, heading to the back.

After a bit, Kerindia was awake, on a couch in a training room. "WAY TO GO KERINDIA!" Valt yelled. "Valt, I just woke up, I know you- wait...I really won?" she asked. "Yeah, and it was amazing." Everyone turned, seeing Kyoya. "D...dad?" she said gently.
