They're adults btw and Sanira is about 13

Kerindia and Shu were working on some things when Sanira came in. "Hey mom, dad, my friends parents told them about a person named Red Eye, do you know who he is?" she asked gently, the two looked at them, their eyes widen. Shu seemed a little sad. "U-um...he no on-" "Just tell her...it's fine," Shu intrupted his wife. "Are...are you sure?" Kerindia asked, gently holding his hand, Shu gently lowered his head, nodding.

"Red Eye...Red Eye was your dad," Kerindia said gently. "W-what? But...my friends said Red Eye was mean and scary like how Lui was...dad's not mean or scary..." Sanira said. "...I was Red Eye, and everyday I regret choosing that path," Shu said sighing. "I was mean to uncle Valt when he only wanted to be friends...I...I was mean to your mother when she just wanted to help...I even..." Shu gently sniffled, Kerindia gently held his hand close. "Y-you even what?" Sanira asked, seeming a little scared. "I...I hurt her...I didn't mean to....I didn't want to...but Spryzen..." Shu gently cried.

Sanira saw her father start to cry, she went and got him some tissues. Shu gently smiled at her, taking a tissue and wiping his tears away. "Um...if it's okay if I ask...why become Red Eye?" Sanira asked. "...I wanted to be stronger, I wanted to be the best...so I chose a bad path rinstead...instead of a path I've always chosen...I could've just worked hard...but I didn't....Red Eye is gone though, and he'll never come back...I promise," Shu said, hugging his wife and daughter.

Later that night, as Kerindia was putting Sanira to bed, Shu went into a room only he knew about. He went over to a blastic box. It had his broken mask in it. "Never again..." he mumbled to hmself.
