Katana used to be a happy, outgoing, adorable pure bean who was also a goofball at times. And, there was a girl he loved named Rya, she was the captain of Rideout. And Gou's sister. Katana didn't know...but Gou abused his own sister, and barley let her eat, Katana always tried to put a smile on her face whenever he could.

 One night, Katana snook over to Rya and Gou's house, gently knocking on Rya's window. "Psssst, Ryaaaa," Katana whispers, looking into her window. "Katana? W..what are you doing here?" she whispers, opening her window. "I wanna show you something!" Katana whispered yelled cutely, taking her hand and quietly running to a field of grass.

"Katana...this is a bad idea...I need to go back..." Rya said, sounding scared. "Can we at least look at the stars for a while?" Katana asked, giving her a cute puppy face, she sighs. "Fine..." she said, and the two lays down, looking at the sky. "Look at that star!" Katana said, pointing to a bright one. "I think I'll call it...Rya," he said. "Why?" Rya asked. "Because it's beautiful like you, but you're WAAAAY prettier," Katana sad, smiling cutely, Rya blushed.

Katana had a best night...but after a month or two...Gou told Rideout some bad news. 

"Gou...where's Rya?" Katana asked, scared for her. "...Rya...Rya comitted suicide," Gou said, sighing a bit, Katana's eyes widen, fill with tears, he then tried to hit Gou, but Shinki held him back. "HOW COULD YOU LET HER DIE?! YOU'RE SUPPOSE TO PROTECT HER AND CARE!!" he yelled at him, tear going down his face.

After that day and the funeral, Katana became more serious, and only focused on beyblade, he did eat, bathe, and sleep, but that's it, he barley did anything fun with Shinki or his friends, he was different...all because of the person he loved....was dead.
