Okay, so here's how the story goes;

In English class, we had to pick a famous poem and memorize it. Now, a lot of people went and picked poems like 'Road Less Traveled', 'The Raven', 'Do Not Go Gently Into That Good Night', and other ones such as.

I chose 'Fire and Ice' by Robert Frost. If you don't know the poem, here it goes;

Some say the world will end in fire,

Some say in ice.

From what I've tasted of desire

I hold with those who favor fire.

But if it had to perish twice,

I think I know enough of hate

To say that for destruction ice

Is also great

And would suffice.

Most of my classmates thought I chose it because it was short. A few of my friends thought I chose it because I like nature and the elements. A few of my good friends thought that I chose it because I like Robert Frost. However, my best friends knew.

They knew I didn't choose it because of my love of nature, Frost, or being lazy. They knew I chose it because it reminded me...

...of these two dumbasses.

I mean, reread that poem and tell me that that is not the most Coldwave thing to ever Coldwave!

I literally based a project that was 25% of my final grade for the entire year on a poem I liked because it reminded me of my favorite characters on a goddamn TV show.

I did, thankfully, pass.
