I was forced to sit at a dinner table with a family friend who I haven't seen in about six months, and my two cousins who I haven't seen in about a year! Whoo!

Basically, there was a kids, teens, and adults table. I had to sit with my sister at this table with the cousins and family friend. All of us are somewhat antisocial, and it takes us a while to get used to each other. Usually my sister does something stupid and we're all friends.

This time though, my sister decided to actually be a sane child (until a little while later), so we had nothing to laugh about or anything. That basically meant we sat in extremely awkward silence the whole time.

Eventually, I started laughing at how awkward it was, and my sister kept asking what I was laughing about. When my two cousins left the table, I laughed more and finally said how awkward it was. The family friend agreed with me, and we started talking! Hooray! I was kind of social for once!

I still haven't said one word to the cousins I was so excited to see though...
