You were practicing your magic when suddenly something went wrong and you accidentally teleported yourself away. You had a slight meant of panic and wildly glanced around you.
It seemed you were somewhere in a forest though that's about all you could gather. You wondered for a moment of you couldn't just teleport yourself back home but realized you hadn't even meant to teleport in the first place and you were tired from practicing fall day.
That would be a bad decision; you could end up who knows where or just tire yourself to much. It wasn't worth it.
After a while you sigh and decide to start walking in a random direction, the sun was beginning to set and you hoped that maybe you could happen upon some town or something.

Nearly an hour and no luck. The sun was on the horizon now. You sighed as you glanced longingly at it, hoping for just a bit more time. Then you happen to see a shape off in the distance. There was no mistaking it; a cabin!
You quickly made your way over before it got too dark to see and walked up on the porch. After a brief hesitation you knocked on the door. No answer.

You thought perhaps they hadn't heard you and tried again, a bit harder this time. To your surprise the door shifted slightly open. It was unlocked and apparently not even closed all the way.
Why would someone just leave their front door open like that? Especially out here in the forest where any wild animal could easily just barge in...

Your curiosity got the better of you and you pushed the door open and peered inside. You couldn't see anyone present though there was a single lamp on on the other side of a couch.
Not really wanting to spend the night out in a dark creepy unknown forest you walk in and close the door behind you before ambling around and trying to see if anyone was at home.

Unseen dull grey eyes watched your every move from the rafters above.....
